The food was of excellent quality and great value though we had to wait a little while for it. The restaurant is compact at the back of the Bulls Head pub so you do have to get up and purchase drinks at the bar yourself. The tables we were sat at were at a different height to each other so this was not so great. Service was friendly and no doubt we will visit again.

Great night out, Ann’s Thai is unique take on a restaurant.

If you have never been to Ann’s before prepare for an adventure because the restaurant is hard to find as it’s tucked away in the back of a pub. No seriously, it is of the Bulls head pub. It’s like something from Phoenix nights but they don’t joke around with the food.

The decorations helps distance itself from the pub and it gives a good restaurant vibe. The one thing we did notice is that it’s very clean, I did not see a lick of dust on the decorations at all. They do an amazing job with the hygiene.

The food was extremely tasty, I always love a nice Thai meal, it’s not like Chinese food where it seems greasy, it tastes clean and it has an infusion of different flavours, the floral decorations they creation with the veg just makes it a true piece of art.

Ok, so what let it down, well not a massive thing which you can forgive (in a way), the nice lady who serviced us our mains forgot to give us the sides, we was waiting for a while and had to ask for the rice. Unfortunately this meant my wife’s meal was cold and to top it off they forgot the extra crackers we ordered and we nearly finished.

The thing is, it was a busy night and mistakes happen when it gets a bit much so don’t for one second let that put you off

We booked a table for New Years Eve at 18:30. When we arrived we were told that they didn’t have enough tables and they were unable to serve us. We explained we had booked, everything had been confirmed and we’d even paid for a taxi to get there. The manager didn’t take it seriously and it felt like she found the situation amusing. She confirmed that they had taken our booking but miscalculated and had no table. I asked why they couldn’t have called us and warned us but they said “we didn’t have your contact number”. This was not true as the restaurant had called us the day before to confirm the time with us. With it being New Year’s Eve it ruined our night and was stressful. Really disappointed and would not recommend or return due to the attitude of the staff.

I’ve only had takeaway from Ann’s so will update once I’ve eaten in! The food was fantastic & delivery service was great despite the fact the sat nav sent the driver to the wrong place, he was very apologetic. Despite that, the food was still piping hot! If the takeaway is anything to go by, being served should be fantastic! Can’t wait to update my review in the near future

First visit as we weren’t far away in Albrighton on the day.
We eventually realised the restaurant was actually in the bull pub, at the back.
We arrived in opening hours but the place was empty, it took a few minutes for the lady to appear.
From then we were alone eating which didn’t give any atmosphere other than dining together which of course is the most important thing.
Except for a draughty skylight there is no real natural light – it does feel as if a bsck room at the pub has been converted into some seating and therefore doesn’t give a particularly special eating experience in terms of atmosphere and vibe.
The food itself which is the important bit was very good, enjoyed the tom yum, and fish cakes. I did find in the main dish the chicken was very wet which is unusual and I haven’t come across that before in chinese or thai food – i assume they must boil it.
Overall the price is reasonable and if we ever go near Bilston in the future I would visit again.

Very cosy Thai restaurant and also a cosy little pub in the front of the restaurant. Walking through the front door of the pub and the Thai restaurant at the back side. The food was delicious.

Took my order over the phone despite it being NYE and them being really busy, the staff were all really friendly and the Thai green curry was the best we had ever had!

Having just returned from Thailand, and still dreaming about the incredible food. I wasn’t expecting to find anything that could compare back home. But wow, was I wrong. This place served up the most authentic Thai fried rice I’ve tasted outside of Thailand.

I ordered the Thai fried rice with prawns and chicken, and every bite was a perfect balance of flavour and texture. The chicken was tender and succulent, the prawns fresh and juicy, and the rice… absolute perfection—light, fragrant, and cooked just right. Each mouthful brought back memories of traveling through the bustling streets of Bangkok and street stalls and seaside eateries in Phuket.

If you’re craving real Thai flavour that transports you straight to the heart of Thailand, this dish is a must-try. I’ll definitely be back.
