Welcome to Lindsay’s at the Cornish Inn! Ingredients are sourced farm fresh whenever possible, locally roasted coffee and Maine maple syrup are staples here. Enjoy coming downstairs and joining the locals for a bite (or twelve), or sitting on the porch enjoying your morning cup. Or treat yourself to a charbroiled burger with garden lettuce & tomatoes after spending a morning exploring Cornish. And the menu changes seasonally!

As a Maine resident, I love places that truly embody historic New England charm. The place is not only rich with history, but with a flavorful menu and an outgoing staff! My mom got an espresso martini which was bomb of course! I got the holiday Merry Cranberry mocktail! A festive and mouthwatering treat. Marcus dropped the Cajun wing special, a treat on the house while we waited for our entrees! Ashley was our server and always made sure we were watered, replenished my tea, and was very accommodating and thoughtful around mine and my mom’s allergies! They both embodied true hospitality in my book. Between the four of us, for dinner, we got the Fall salad with grilled chicken, the rib-eye steak, the pork chop and the maple glazed salmon (mouth watering). The French onion soup was cheesy and delicious! The fries are a MUST TRY! We were very satisfied with everything and even had leftovers!! Great place to go to get comforting Maine classics in a cozy environment:) We will be back!!

Tried Lindsay’s for the first time today on Valentine’s Day, and everything was fantastic from start to finish. When I called, Marcus was so helpful — he offered us a reservation during Valentine’s week, walked me through the specials menu over the phone, and reassured me they could make a great martini (they absolutely can!).
Dinner itself exceeded expectations. Marcus was our server and struck the perfect balance — knowledgeable and thoughtful with recommendations, attentive without being intrusive, and genuinely warm. The food was phenomenal and clearly homemade. The focaccia bread was to die for and honestly might have been the highlight of the entire meal. We’ll absolutely be back!

Such a sweet lil restaurant, rustic decor and such good food! Decent sized portions for a good price. Their fries are fried in Beef Tallow!

What a delight!! We have been looking for a place to get a good breakfast that isn’t an hour away in Portland or plain old lack luster, “can-to pan” Sysco food. We have found it!
We stumbled on Lindsay’s for an impromptu breakfast and it was fantastic! With the 4 of us, we had everything from the chicken and waffles (which were yummy and HUGE!) to the eggs benny and biscuits and gravy (my husband will be dreaming of those!)…we even had a few cappuccinos and breakfast cocktails! All were super yummy, affordable and fresh, you can tell they care! We will be back for sure! Can’t wait to try lunch and dinner too! Thank you for starting our day in such a stellar way!

We decided to head out to Cornish Maine today. We did some antiquing, doing so we became hungry and we decided to ask the store owner on places to eat locally. Turns out there’s a place right across the street. Unfortunately I have a bad habit of starting to eat before I take any pictures, this was one of those days, where we were so hungry. We did not take any pictures. I can assure you the food was very good, service was good, place is very appealing and clean. And on this warm day, it has AC and it was nice and cold inside. When we come this way next year, this would be a place that we stop at again. Good times.

This is a very good restaurant in a lovely New England inn in a lovely New England town of Cornish, ME. I had breakfast of the Irish Eggs Benny on corned beef hash. They had an option for potato cakes as opposed to just fried, these were a nice change. Relaxed and spacious atmosphere, you can also sit outside on the veranda (next time). Next time I’m going to try dinner. Definitely recommended if you are going to Cornish (antigue-ing) or just passing through.

They serve a great breakfast in a old inn and a very quaint town. The food is delectable. The service was fantastic and friendly. My daughter had pancakes which were magnificent, and I had a corned beef hash omelette which was fantastic. Highly recommended!

Went for the valentine’s day dinner. Reservation ran 20 minutes behind, no biggie. Got worse from there. Ordered 2 cocktails that took 25 minutes. Ordered food and it took an hour and a half. Never got our appetizer, food was bland, steak wasn’t cooked right, didn’t want to send it back and wait an additional hour. Waiter tried to accommodate as best as he could. Very slow, very underwhelming. Spent 2 hours here. Will not return.

We traveled from Florida to Maine stopping for breakfast every morning over ten days. This place was the best! We ate in many great places but this one was honestly so delicious. The homemade corned beef hash was soo good. The corn bread was amazing and the cinnamon raisin bread was to die for. Oh and those potato pancakes OMG!! Country atmosphere and service was spot on. Loved it here. Can’t wait to go back. And the weather was perfect.
