This place is a hidden gem and deserves more customers. The fish and chips are absolutely delicious — the fish is very fresh and lightly battered, not too bready at all, so you can truly enjoy the taste of the fish. You can really tell the quality right away.
The French fries are made from real potatoes, cut fresh in the restaurant — not frozen — which makes a huge difference. Everything tastes homemade and fresh.
They also offer breakfast, which is another great option and just as enjoyable. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the place is spotless and well-kept, and the staff are incredibly polite, always welcoming you with a big smile.
Overall, great food, great service, and a great environment. Highly recommended — this place truly deserves more attention!

Had the fish and chips dinner with Halibut and it was very good. Big portions, fry weren’t bad for skin on, Halibut was cooked perfect and some very good coleslaw.
Server was very pleasant and good at her task. Very little wait time between ordering and food on the table.

Had a craving for fish and chips and decided to check out this place. It was one of the best I have had. The fish was fresh and thick. The batter has the perfect crunch without being oily or doughy. Fries were done perfectly. I had it with their homemade tartar sauce — much better than the small packet types. Super clean and fabulous service. What a good find in Lindsay!

We’ve been there a couple times and really pleased with big portions and quick service. This last time the owner was not on site and it was a different experience. We ordered the Seniors’ portion as their servings are usually so big, but the young guys in the kitchen really skimped on the portions. Best part was the lovely waitress. I’ve been recommending this place up to now, but won’t be any longer, if you can’t count on the serving size.

You have lost a valued customer. Got two specials today fish was overcooked and at the same time dripping in grease. Inside fish was dry but sitting in sooo much grease the batter was soupy mush! Teach your cashiers how to count as she tried to short change me $10 until I had to convince her to use the calculator sitting on the counter. She realized she was wrong and no apology. Fries were all dry and inedible they all went in the trash. With out the owner there the younger people working there don’t care about quality control what so ever. What was once an amazing place I will never return!! Very sad you haven’t been open very long and have already given up on the high standards you once had!
Fish & Chips are OUTSTANDING. Haven’t had fish and chips like this in years. Been here a few times. Sure looking at menu prices seem expensive but for portion size and quality the prices are right on point!!! Try this place you won’t regret it!!
Update** was here on Friday August 8th. Got fish and chips like always. Once a week/bi weekly. Fish was unbelievably tasty like always. This time though EXTREMELY SKIMPY on fries and there were soggy. I understand you are busy but that’s not an excuse. Not going to lower a rating because of it. Just thought I would add it to the review because I wasn’t happy tonight.

It was our first visit and was an awesome experience! We ordered the shrimp to share and they were huge and prepared perfectly. Next came our orders of halibut and fries…fish batter was thin and not greasy at all, cooked spot on, the fries were crispy, tartar sauce and coleslaw made in house. Delicious! Owner and staff are super friendly. We will be back the next time we are in the area.
