The main issue with this place was waiting an hour and a half for food when they told me it would be 20 minutes. The food was okay at best. the restaurant was understaffed, and they were doing their best, but if you’re going to take an order to go and tell me the real time. I was full off of chips and salsa. Is what it is Resort life. Lol. After a couple of margaritas… my food came, and I walked back to my room. Don’t get me wrong, it was a very busy day on the mountain (October fest) be up front with the time.

Portion sizes for both of our meals were large enough for two meals – I ordered the lime tacos, barbacoa on flour tortillas and they were delicious. My husband had some kind of burrito – it literally covered his whole plate. There was a toddler menu that we also ordered from but our son chose to make a meal of chips instead. You do have to order and pay for your chips and salsa, if you want any. They’re good but probably the only Mexican restaurant I’ve ever had to do that at.

Limited options available at the bottom of the mountain. Supposed Mexican food and happy hour specials. The frozen margarita specials were not listed. Of what happy hour was. Tried the salsa and chips to get a taste of the flavor. The salsa was some weird mesquite flavor sauce. Not salsa. Salsa is supposed to have fresh tomatoes and onions. This was like a dark sauce based with mesquite. Not worth it. Decided to pass on the food. Overall, wait until you’re closer in town to eat.

So I’m scratching my head on the 3.8 stars… my experience here was excellent! This was my second visit in two days.. the first day was for happy hour which we ordered two margaritas and chips with guacamole. $15 total! And both were excellent! I was so impressed that I went back the next day for happy hour and dinner….. everything again was excellent! This will now become a regular stop for me!

Food took a while and when it finally came out, had been prepared wrong. Had to wait for corrected food. Tequila flight was good. Ordered coffee but restaurant had run out if milk or cream. Waiter was nice but food not so great. Pricey for what you get. Plus, there’s a resort fee/tax everywhere you go: shops, restayrants, lodging.

The Scorpions are amazing. They have some kick but not too much. The selection of tequila is excellent, from blanco all the way through anejo and extra anejo, I have never seen such a wide variety outside of a liquor store.

Really good food and drink options and the staff is super fun!! We stopped in pretty late after a day of skiing and got seated pretty easily. I got the chicken fajitas which came out steaming and fresh. Lots of food so I was able to have some leftovers. The queso and guac dip for the chips was incredible! They also have a great selection of drink options at a reasonable price for a ski town. I’ll likely be back again!

Place looked great online and the menu looked delicious at first. I went in there with my girlfriend and first got the chips and salsa, immediately tasted something off with the salsa as it was so sweet and did not go down easy, we kept adding hot sauce but even that could not save it. My vegan girlfriend had little to no options and ordered a bean burrito which was presented with a side of HAIR. It was switched out and she was then brought out the wrong order once again. The waiter refused to comp the meal and take accountability. Save yourself the embarrassment and go to the pizza place across Lime.

Lime, an American Cantina and Tequila Bar in Keystone, Colorado, offers a delightful experience with its prime location, conveniently close parking lot, and a bustling atmosphere especially after skiing. The establishment boasts an impressive selection of tequila, enhancing the overall experience for enthusiasts.
Despite being short-staffed, the dedicated team manages to deliver a positive experience, particularly once the drinks start flowing. The nachos, enjoyed alongside the drinks, stand out with their delicious flavor, adding to the overall satisfaction of the visit. While the service is described as decent, it’s evident that the staff’s efforts contribute to a pleasant dining atmosphere.
In terms of pricing, Lime offers fair rates, ensuring that customers receive value for their money. The recommendation to visit this establishment is based on the combination of its great location, a wide array of tequila options, tasty nachos, and reasonable prices. For those seeking a post-skiing hangout with a lively vibe and flavorful offerings, Lime, an American Cantina and Tequila Bar, proves to be a worthy choice.
