As a Houstonian: this is the BEST Mexican food in West Texas/the Panhandle!! For the last 4 years, I’ve tried every Mexican or Tex Mex place I can, and was left disappointed every time- HOWEVER Lillies Place quite literally brought me to tears. Not only is the price SO cheap and you get so much food! The service is fast and friendly! Even if you only got the chips; the flavor profile is truly outstanding and will make your tongue dance again. The salsa is also the PERFECT balance of heat and flavor. I got the Chorizo daily special as well as the Bacon Potato Cheese and they are insanely delicious.

Lillie’s Place hands down serves the best breakfast in town! We had the breakfast burritos and they were absolutely out-of-this-world delicious. The flavors were fresh, bold, and perfectly balanced. The salsa was packed with flavor, and the seasoned chips were downright scrumptious—crispy, savory, and addictive. From the first bite to the last, everything was perfect. This place has some of the best burritos in Lubbock Texas. It was formally called JC’S Burritos but that’s been 5+ years ago. But I really enjoy the flavor and the size of the burritos you can actually taste what you are eating today we had hamburger and potato and egg and chorizo burritos with chips and salsa. Which the salsa is bursting with good flavor and the chips are our favorite kind they are the thinner chips. But the down side is they do not have tamales

No frills, delicious hometown favorite breakfast burritos! I get the ham, egg, and cheese burrito- always a winner. My partner gets bacon and egg and it usually is a little dry for me (maybe because of the bacon or lack of cheese?). Either way we are there for the delicious red and green salsa. Always plenty of seating, we utilize the empty parking lot next door and walk over. They do have a drive-thru that moves pretty quickly. The only downside I have is they are closed on weekends so we have to find our weekend burritos elsewhere ♀️
