We enjoyed our meal here. It was a very casual setting. I had the chicken and waffle. The chicken was very moist and tasty. The waffle was okay, not too sweet, which was good because the syrup was super sweet. My husband got the #10 combo, catfish and pork ribs. He liked it, but he said his favorite part was actually the collard greens. He said that the mac and cheese was also excellent. Considering how work intensive BBQ is, the price is very reasonable. We also got enough leftovers for another meal. Business is family owned.

We were at Santa Clara Wine Festival today. As always food was excellent we ordered cornbread, ma cheese. I ordered double we would have it for tonight dinner. I wish you had your peach cobbler. We were regular customers at Little Mae Restaurant sure miss it. Plus seeing you all.

Alright so the place itself kinda gives off a shack feeling but I ordered to go so I won’t speak to that. Instead, I will say that everyone was friendly and all the customers in the line and around the restaurant were happy and seemingly enjoying the food. As did I, when I got home. And well, the dinner combo is truly more food than any one person has business eating in one sitting (not that stopped me!). Fried Chicken, Ribs, Mac n Cheese, Beans, Corn Bread, and Deep Fried Corn on the Cobb (extra) all delicious. Definitely would recommend to anyone wanting to pig out and then some. The koolaid was also good.

Servings were massive, but the pork ribs and brisket were very tough. Not my first choice for BBQ, but had to try.

Home cookin with great service! Grape Koolaide in a pitcher next to homemade ice tea. Just what’s needed after a long day at work. The only thing left after my dinner… Forgot to take a picture of the fried chicken collard greens and mac & cheese

Best ribs and catfish anywhere. Catfish is tender and light, not greasy. Tried the baked mac n cheese, lots of cheddar. Ribs smokey, tender, fall off bone, so good you don’t need sauce but don’t miss the smokey, sweet n tangy sauce made right. Tons of parking, small friendly staff. Takes time to get your catfish but that’s cause it’s made fresh, not sitting there getting cold. Even liked the coleslaw which is not usually my thing. Chopped brisket enough for two people. Generous portions. Gets busy during peak hours.

What I love about this place : The food is delicious. The place is clean. The staff is friendly. Plenty of free parking.
What I would change: The prices (little on the steep side). Maybe a one time thing but I got the peach cobbler once and found the dough to be too soggy/under baked. Great Southern barbecue flavor is a plus!

The workers here are very friendly, and the atmosphere here is really nice. The prices are a little more on the expensive side, but the portions are relatively large so its not too bad; however, their bbq ribs are a little on the dry side and doesn’t have the fall off the bone texture we all know and love. The food is only slightly warm and not blistering hot which i really love. The best side in my opinion was the Mac and cheese which had great cheese drag and actually tasted a like cheddar.

The flavors for the ribs were great, not too sweet as some sauces get. But the brisket was swimming in the grease from the ribs so was not all that appetizing. The corn bread was moist if not a bit bland but I guess that balanced out the barbecue sauce and the cold slaw and collard greens were nicely seasoned if a bit on the runny side. I have to return for the Chicken and waffles, they looked good, too.
