Lil Cow Cafe Bistro, located in Rolling Valley Shopping Center in Burke, offers a cozy, farmhouse-like atmosphere with large windows that flood the cafe with sunlight. It serves fresh, high-quality food, especially sandwiches, with a diverse menu, friendly staff, and charming fall decorations. We loved the large logo in the center. The coffee, brewed with La Colombe beans, was excellent—robust and not watered down.
We were delighted to find perfect sandwiches this morning. You can choose your bread from Whole Wheat, Soft White, Wrap, Sourdough, or Ciabatta. We highly recommend:
1. Southwest Wrap, containing grilled chicken, avocado, spinach, tomatoes, onions, provolone cheese, and Chipotle Aioli. All ingredients were fresh, tasty, and the sauce complemented everything nicely.
2. Gourmet Bacon Chicken Cheesesteak sandwich, made with grilled chicken breast, crispy bacon, and cheese on an Italian Hoagie roll, and served with French fries. The ingredients were fresh, the sauce excellent, and the bread light and not dense, resulting in a satisfying sandwich.

We tried Lil Cow Cafe Bistro and everything was so delicious! We got the iced strawberry matcha lattes, chipotle rib eye, and the Cow rib eye sandwich, the flavors were great. The vibe inside was chill and really nice, perfect for a casual meal. We’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu!

I had passed this place many times and never knew what kind of food they sold based on the name. Idk why I assumed it was an Asian place. Anyways, finally got a chance to pop in. Ok sandwich’s. Got me a turkey cranberry chutney. I don’t write too many reviews, but this sandwich was great. Perfectly toasted bread, delicious chutney that’s just right on acidity, a few slivers of onions and avocado. A steal at $10.50. Wish I woulda went in sooner.

GREAT menu options & fun adorable harvest decor. Cafe had a steady stream of visitors & noticed the food service was quick.

Food was average at best and it was absolutely freezing inside. I ordered the turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce, they used cheap deli turkey instead of real roast turkey. My daughter has a cheesesteak which was barely filled and lacking flavor. These simple sandwiches aren’t hard to make right, but I feel this place uses cheap ingredients and skimps wherever they can. I was hoping for something better but sadly this is a one time try.

Roasts La Colombe coffee, which disappoints for a place that’s boutique, especially that said “specialty coffee” outside. Still, friendly staff and smooth ordering process. Coffee is pretty good. Inside feel is farmhouse-like, which is a feel they’re going for. Interesting sandwiches on menu.

Great food. I had the avocado melt, blue raspberry lemonade, and vanilla latte. They were all spectacular. The customer service was outstanding. There was even a miscommunication error with the order, and they fixed it quickly!

A little gem in Burke. Call me biased, being the grandkid of a dairy farmer, but this place is cute AND has great coffee.
I can’t get enough of the hot lavender latte, plus the place is full on a rainy Tuesday at 10am? The people vote w their wallet!
TG for a clean ADA compliant bathroom. Handrails and all. Thanks!
My only recommendation is they need more tables or a different table layout. Plus they have prime corner real estate w windows and could put a few outdoor chairs on the side that has tree shade.
