The ice cream is excellent and the store is always staffed by very friendly college students (each with their own tip jar to help with their college funds), but the hours can be erratic off-season. Available flavors vary by the day, but you can even text the owner to find out when your favorites might be back in stock. It’s a tiny shop with nowhere to sit inside, but a great find!

A True Gem — Americana at Its Best!

Little City Creamery captures the essence of small-town America with effortless charm. From the “Lucy’s College Fund” tip jar to the nostalgic décor, every detail feels authentic and lived-in. The ice cream, however, is what elevates this humble shop into a local institution.

Signature flavors like Steam Oil, a rich coffee-caramel blend, and Triple Chocolate Thunder showcase a mastery of balance and texture. Seasonal varieties keep the experience fresh and the regulars loyal. The owners’ close connection to their cows and creamery partners gives each scoop a purity that’s increasingly rare.

Open late, friendly, and unwavering in quality, Little City Creamery stands as the finest ice cream in the DMV. Five stars, without hesitation.

Came as a highly recommended ice cream shop from some of our friends! Ice cream is the perfect kind of creamy, and they serve classic favorites as well as uniquely named flavor combinations. We loved their Pink Peppermint Chocolate Chip and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.

The quaintest ice cream shop in town with the quirkiest items. You must stop by at least once to try their delicious selection of ice cream and either one of their sugar cones, waffle cones, or cake cones. The price is right and the flavor far exceeds its value! Come find out why their pampered cows produce some of the creamiest cream! This is probably my new favorite place for ice cream.

There are benches in front of this shop, so ignore what some of the reviews say about no seating. There’s also a very, very small park that’s 30 seconds from the shop that may have seating. It’s in the direction of the parking lot.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Lil City Creamery in Falls Church, Virginia, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The standout feature of this charming ice cream shop has to be the exceptional service provided by two young and friendly employees. They were not only welcoming but also incredibly knowledgeable about the fantastic ice cream they serve.

Speaking of ice cream, the quality here is top-notch. The flavors are not overly sweet, and you can truly taste the organic and natural ingredients used. It’s a refreshing change from overly sugary options at some other places.

The store itself is clean, well-organized, and brimming with character. The owner’s collection of action figures and cartoons adds a unique touch that sets this place apart.

Parking was surprisingly hassle-free, with ample space in the back of the store. It’s a rarity in this area, and it’s definitely appreciated.

A little background on Lil City Creamery: it’s a small establishment with a rich history, making it a local gem. While the place is cozy, you can enjoy your ice cream in the little park next to it.

The only drawback is the absence of a restroom, which can be a bit inconvenient, especially for families. Nonetheless, Lil City Creamery is a great spot for a sweet treat, fantastic service, and a touch of nostalgia. It’s a must-visit for anyone in Falls Church!

A tasty ice cream treat. A small ice cream shop with distinctive tasty ice creams. One can have ice cream cups or cones. I like the pecan butter ice cream and the chocolate chip butter peanut. A small park adjacent to ship is a nice place to sit and enjoy ice cream, especially in the evening

Yummy icecream. Great option of flavors. Location is super tiny- no place to sit, but there is a tiny park next door where you can enjoy your icecream. Oreo/mint icecream is delicious- butter pecan and salted caramel- excellent as well.

A tiny ice cream parlor that serves delicious think and creamy ice cream. My friend got a single scoop of Butter Pecan ($4.75). I got a double scoop ($6.75) of Butter Pecan and Cocoanut. The only drawback is that there’s no place to sit in the shop. Not a problem on a beautiful summer day, with benches right outside to sit and enjoy your ice cream or other treat.

This tiny shop has an outsized personality! My friends enjoyed looking at the 1,000+ action figures that lined the walls. Oh…and place also boasts delicious smoothies and ice cream.

I was taken by the pistachio ice cream (no corn syrup and not overly sweet). My friend and I split the strawberry smoothie (tasted like ripe strawberries while also not being overly sweet). My other friend enjoyed his pina colada smoothie. The prices here are quite reasonable for being in the DMV.

The service here is friendly and quick. There is a small park three doors down where you can enjoy your ice cream.

Cute, super tiny ice cream place downtown of falls church. They have display of figurines on the wall, FULL OF FIGURINES. They have stret parking in front and regular parking in the back. Store is super small and it looks like it can only fit at most is 5 people.

I ordered the kids size chocolate chip and oreo ice cream. It is delicious and perfect size for me. Will deff come back if I’m around this part of town.
