✨ Havana Night Wednesdays at El Santo Coyote ✨
If you haven’t pulled up to Havana Night at El Santo Coyote, you are seriously missing out! I went yesterday and wow. The food was incredible.
The music, the vibe, the energy, everything was on point. It’s the perfect midweek treat if you want good food, good music, and that warm Cuban feeling.
10/10 recommend. Catch me there every Wednesday! ✨

The place is beautifully decorated and feels warm and inviting as soon as you walk in. The food is fresh, full of authentic flavor, and made to perfection. The service was excellent from start to finish, and the margaritas were top notch. This is easily the best Mexican food I’ve had, and I’ve had a lot.

this place ranked high when I was looking for a place to eat. it was a rainy evening. the reviews were high but when we pulled in we were worried if they were open. we gave it a shot anyway. they wasn’t busy at all and we were greeted, seated and served drinks quickly. our server happend to be either the store manager or owner. he was very nice, great customer service. when we shared why we decided to come in (authentic) the manager/owner explained to us that only some people are looking for authentic food but most just want basic dishes. so to accommodate the business that is present they change their menu to suit the need for the crowd while also staying true to authentic dishes. the queso and salsa was definitely amazing. the fajitas were just as good despite the lack of customers that evening. supporting local restaurants and their authentic menu is so important and I hope this place can continue to grow and share amazing recipes with the area!!

I went here with my family, the food was pretty good and the servers were very friendly, however, the menu wasn’t clear about any of the prices. I ordered the Valetines day special steak, the menu said it was only $10 but when the bill came, the steak was $30. My dad ordered the steak chimichanga but they gave him chicken instead, and the menu said it’d be $14, but it was actually $11.50. Bathrooms were also subpar, not incredibly clean, and pretty dark

We visited this place for the 1st time since moving here. It has so much character, so entertaining. The food was tasty, with good portions. The lemonade tasted like it was made from scratch. If you go earlier, you can get dessert from the Cuban bakery.

Wow just doesn’t cover our experience here! Very authentic decor and menu. We had the guacamole and it was amazing. It tasted as good as the guacamole we had in Mexico! The margaritas were perfect! The salsa was made table side and was great too. I had the yummy taco salad. Family ordered chicken burrito, kids beans and cheese burrito, and tampiquira. For dessert the flan was so rich and delicious, portion was big enough we all shared. Everything was absolutely delicious. My mother in law and I couldn’t finish our taco salad and burrito so we have food for later. We already plan to come again next week!!
Oh, and the staff was amazing and attentive!

Beautifully decorated, good location. Upon entering sign read please wait to be seated the place seemed deserted, no customer’s no visible staff. Walked about looking for staff in an empty restaurant at 11:30Am on a Tuesday. Found one person behind the bar who was now our hostess and server, this was the only staff encountered during our visit. My wife and I ordered the Fiestas nachos for 16.95 and shared, not quite up to comparison to any Mexican restaurant I have ever visited in quantity or quality, very disappointed with everything during our visit.
Don’t waste your time at this restaurant, anywhere else you can find will be better than El Santo Coyote.

Food Review: El Santo Coyote is 100% the best Mexican Restaurant in town and I’m disappointed in Waycross for not supporting this local business more! Regularly when I go in there is an empty house and I don’t understand.
There food is not only amazing, its fresh, including freshly made salsa right at your table WHICH YOU CAN PICK WHAT GOES IN YOUR SALSA! I have eaten there plenty of times and have not been disappointed once!
You walk in to great service, and uniquely created menus and a BEAUTIFUL environment! The place has amazing architecture, cultural significance and detail. The first time I went my jaw-dropped as I didnt expect a place to be this beautiful *attaching pictures*
NOT TO MENTION the prices are affordable! For two people it was $35 before tip, most people spend that at a place with less amazing service/quality food.
Please support this place if you are able to. Waycross needs high quality places like this!
