This is a bbq trailer just outside of Holland Texas on Highway 95. This place has good brisket, very good ribs, and spectacular sausage! They have chicken tenders and hamburgers too. I had the 3 meat plate with the brisket, ribs, and sausage. The brisket was lean and tender enough, the ribs were very good but the sausage was awesome! The sausage had a very fine grind and was not greasy at all,the best part of the whole plate in my opinion. The fact that me makes his own sausage makes it that much better! I had the collard green and charro beans for sides, both equally delicious. I’ll definitely be back there again!

Wife was baking cookies all day for Valentines and no dinner. I decided to find some BBQ and wanted to try somewhere new. Picked Li’l Armadillo out of a line up and happy I did. Wife was already saying how good it smelled as I walked in and she was raving about the choice as she nabbed her first piece of brisket. By her first bite of a fireball she was saying we are going there all the time. Picked up a 1.5 pounds of moist delicious brisket and 4 fireballs, came with pickles onions and bread.
Tomorrow I am making Brisket Nachos.
I highly recommend and if you’re lucky, many days around 6pm you just may run into Errol Flynn.

The food was amazing! We tried the cheeseburger and brisket sandwich. They were both bursting with a smoky flavor! We haven’t had good barbecue like this in a while so if you’re ever out in Holland Texas give them a shot you won’t be disappointed.

1st thing first, the portions are legit. The double meat burger was huge with a stout serving of the best crinkle cut fries I’ve ever had. The brisket and meat was on point and had a strong, but not overpowering wood smoked flavor. My buddy had the 2 meat plate and said the single meat would’ve been enough to fill him up. Everything is prepared and smoked on site including the fresh ground beef patties. We drove about 25 minutes and will definitely be back for more with the family and kids.

We just happened to be driving by one day and noticed the Lil Armadillo Food Truck was Open. We Turned in an decided on a Sliced Brisket Sandwich. It was Cold, Windy and Drizzley that Day, so, the Gentleman told us to wait in the Car and He would bring our Order out to Us. It wasn’t long before he brought out a heavy Paper Sack with our Sandwiches in it. I have to say…they were Ginormous! Packed with Soft Juicy Brisket and topped with Pickles, Onions and Sauce. We chatted a few minutes and he was very friendly. He told us a bit about his history and future plans for the place. (The Food is reasonably Priced with Nice Portion sizes AND He makes his own Sausage ) I will go back again. Maybe next time I can sit at the Picnic Tables and enjoy my lunch in the Shade instead of in the Truck. You should really try the BBQ if you are ever in the area. Thanks Kirby!

I mean Dayum! I was heading up the 95 from Sherwood Forest Faire today and need led a solid bbq meal. Most places along the route were closed, so after some logistics I ended up here right before closing.
The dude working the place was super amazing and brought my food to the car. The brisket was divine and I ate it with my hands, dipping in the perfect bbq sauce.
