Service was great, line was long, the tenders was ok.. not like the original recipe, that i tried in early 90’s ,it was slightly warm, my okra was warm and that I did not appreciate. Have to pay for sauces now. Bring back that EZell taste. I didnt get that.

Don’t get me wrong, I have been going to Ezell’s for decades and love my usual fried gizzards, liver, and okra. I went to the Renton location today and sorry to say but my order was garbage. I ordered a pound of each, all spicy and was very disappointed. You can tell the oil hasn’t been changed for a long time. The food was extra oily, dark, and bitter. The batter was thicker than usual and the liver was extra hard all throughout. I must say.. I won’t be going to this location again.

The service is definitely 5 star. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. I got the 2lb chicken tenders. 1lb regular, 1lb spicy. My taste buds were let down. I couldn’t wait for the flavor train. Especially for almost $50. But, it wasn’t there. Popeyes, KFC, Church’s chicken, then last Ezell’s. Sad face emoji.

I come to this location because the workers are so welcoming and attentive. Marco is amazing at his job! The times I’ve ordered, I’ve always been pleased with the food. Lately the staff have been really nice. Thanks!

The staff was rude and too lazy to ask the cooks to cook. We ordered a 8 piece. Staff said there are “only 2 pieces of the datk meat”. I then had to ask her to cook more chicken. This is a chicken restaraunt? When the order was ready…I had to tell them to bag it up. This Ezells is Very Unprofessional, ignorant to professionalism.

The one guy up front was nice and polite, and HARRIED! But he kept a smile on his face, moved quickly, and explained everything he was doing. He needs extra kudos, but I missed his name. Tall guy with red hair. Super nice, and such a hard worker. I was watching while I waited.

The reason I’m so thrilled when I got there I noticed some chicken coming up so I asked what was that it was spicy white meat . Usually get a wing & roll this day I got 2 wings & 2 rolls but they put an extra one in for me and it was the best tasted like 1984, on 23td across from Garfield High School . I had an amazing experience at Ezell’s Famous Chicken thanks to Sandra ! From the moment I walked in, Sandra was warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. She helped me with me order, took my order promptly, and made sure I had everything I needed.
Even though the place was busy, the team worked efficiently while still making every customer feel valued. They were patient, helpful, and even checked in to make sure my meal was just right. It’s rare to find such great customer service these days, but Ezell’s truly stands out!
Not to mention, the food was absolutely delicious—crispy, flavorful, and fresh. You can tell they take pride in both their food and their service. I’ll definitely be back and will recommend Ezell’s to everyone I know.
