Everything was super delicious!!!! We had the calamari for appi and the the prime rib and asian chicken for our dinners. Even the vegetables were terrific!

Lighthouse Tavern has been a local favorite of mine for a couple years since I moved down. They have a friendly crew of bartenders and servers and an outgoing and outstanding chef that puts out some fantastic burgers! Not to mention I know some friends that get the bacon-wrapped scallops every time they go. I am a big fan of their Quizzo trivia every Thursday and will continue to be a routine customer as long as I’m working down the shore. They do need to fix their schizophrenic sound system though, although it does provides some good laughs…lol.

A group of us went to the Lighthouse for lunch after our Veterans meeting. All the food was right on point, and the service was great. I had an alpine burger with onion rings. Very good experience. If you haven’t been there in a while, get back there!

I can not say a bad thing about this place! Stopped in on the way home from a Hockey game and we will definitely be back. Casual and comfortable this feels like the kind of place you could stop in for one drink And stay all night in. If you left without eating though it would be a shame because their food is absolutely delicious! The peanut butter wings sound odd but are an ABSOLUTE MUST TRY. I had a strip stake and my husband had a burger we both ordered our food rare and actually got it done rare! We also had dessert and I had 2 drinks. Our tab was still under a hundred bucks and everything we wanted was served promptly. Service was so good we never had to wait or ask for a single thing. We talked to our server, the musican who was playing for the night and a kitchen guy who stopped to chat with me about my jersey as well as a few of the other patrons. Everyone was so nice and genuinely seemed happy to be there. If you find yourself in the Barnegat Forked River area do not overlook this place, stop in. Promise you won’t be sorry!

One of the best spots to sing, shuffle, quiz, or eat seafood. The kitchen is consistently between a 7 and a 9 out of 10, and I’m being critical. The fresh muscles and clams are a hidden treasure. Drinks are cheap and they constantly have events throughout the week. A reliable go-to option.
