I’m giving it three stars because even though I didn’t get what I paid for, it was still good. I ordered a number 43, Chipotle Steak and cheese. I received a steak and cheese plain with nothing else on it. Literally just steak cheese and bread.
Edit: in compensation for my messed up order (see below) I received two free sandwich cards in the mail.
One out of three sandwiches they have made right… The food is really good but they have a hard time getting your order correct.

I previously went to the Narragansett location it was not great. The management gave us a free sub for any location. We went to westerly the staff was great the sandwiches were fresh and the place was very clean. Thank you we will be back. I highly recommend the original Italian mikes way!!!

Once again simple instructions failed to be heard the shorts heavy set girl that was working asked me if I wanted salt and pepper on my sandwich. I politely told her no thank you for the salt and pepper. She then proceeded to load my sandwich with salt and pepper. I again stated that I did not want salt and pepper. She then developed an attitude with me through her hands in the air and said well what do you want me to do make it again? I politely said no I wanted you to make it right the first time. I went ahead and took my sandwich paid for and went down the road and gave it to a homeless gentleman. I am highly allergic to salt and pepper. Workers need to be more Vigilant and pay attention to what the customers there would be no business

Not bad. There’s fresh ingredients and the sandwiches are made very well. I’ll definitely be back. Glad to have this addition in Westerly. Uniforms make the restaurant look more professional which is beneficial to the customers.

My wife and I have gotten food 3 times in the last 2 weeks. First 2 times unbelievable…tonight was an absolute nightmare! They made my wife’s sandwich w/ steak and not chicken twice. The weather is cold and wet. I had to leave my house 3 times…by the time I finally got home for good my sandwich was cold.

Not bad , in a year I’ve had a steak & cheese WITHOUT the steak! A tuna WITHOUT tuna.! Yesterday I ordered a sub. 3 people working. 2 in the back chatting it up while the new kid took my order but not my boyfriends. He probably thought hisb2 co workers would considering they were doing nothing! As my sub was almost done, some short loud mouthed girl comes from the back and says I can’t have my sandwich the way I ordered it! She had told the kid making my sandwich to throw it out . Cheese was melted and ready to be wrapped as I watched hit the garbage!!! .meanwhile, boyfriend and I are the only 2 in the store and NO ONE had even taken his order. Same loud mouth girl that had my order thrown out, FINALLY took boyfriends order. Cold sub, oil and vinegar on side. SIMPLE instructions. Hos sub was soaked with oil and vinegar. SIMPLE instructions……ON THE SIDE. needless to say, his sub was so soaked he threw it out due to the bread being drenched! No apologies offered. I will NEVER give this location my business again. 3 times in one year I get 3 subs without the primary ingredient!!!! THREE TIMES!!

I go to Jersey Mike’s almost every week and enjoy them very much however a while back I left a review about the help putting the order slips on top of the sandwich. It was good for a while but today May 19 at lunch time the young man behind the counter was putting the order slips inside the sandwiches totally unsanitary and not trained. I want to continue going but I will stop going if he does this again. I couldn’t believe it uuugh

I have been standing in line for 40 min and have moved 2 ft. Not a single order has been taken in that time. One of the workers is prepping lettuce AT 5:45 DINNER RUSH. The girl prepping sandwiches can’t hear anyone when they tell her what they want on it and then places each individual onion slice on the sandwich just so. The girl on the slicer keeps disappearing for God knows why. And she just yelled out from the back just that she is about to run out of bread and only has 18 loaves left. Then she goes to get herself a drink from the fountain like she doesn’t have 15 people in line. I used to work at a Mikes and I’m embarrassed for them. Like I literally want to cross the line and put some gloves on. There’s people here been in line an hour or more. I’m a local who brought my family here for a quick bite before karate, but I’m going to have to leave without feeding them, and I’ll find another sandwich shop in the future.

A young man named Patrick was working tonight when we ordered 4 sandwiches. When it came to my sandwich my husband noticed it was sitting on the cutting board with vinegar on it and asked what it was due to allergies. This guy made a new sandwich made sure he had a new paper down and new knife so no cross contamination. To a person with food allergies this kid did everything right and we apologized for not mentioning it right away but he was great!!
