Best breakfast on the island, and they really do mean it!! The breakfast tacos were delicious, honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. The biscuits and gravy were great too, with a nice homemade gravy that really stood out. I also had the cranberry raisin waffle, which was a daily special. They offer rotating specials, and both of our entrées happened to be on the special menu!

The coffee and juices were fresh, the service was warm and friendly, and the atmosphere felt cozy and homey. I would definitely come back!!

My boyfriend & I absolutely loved Lighthouse Cafe! The food was delicious & great portion sizes. We had supper one night & breakfast a couple days later. Both meals were absolutely amzing! We both had burgers for supper, they were very filling and seasoned perfectly. For breakfast I had the Denver Omelet which was one of the best ones I’ve ever had at a restaurant. He had the blueberry hotcakes with bacon. The blueberry sauce was amazingly delicious. Everything was just perfect! Our waitress Lisa, when we had supper, was very pleasant & funny! She was such a joy to have as our waitress. We did not catch our waitresses name when we had breakfast but she was great too! Dan ( I think) was great both times! We enjoyed the little bit of conversation with him both times! Everyone was very friendly and it was a great atmosphere inside & out!! We cannot wait to come back again!!

Hands down your best bet for an excellent meal. I think most people tend to try a new restaurants as they’re traveling, but once we found the lighthouse, we went there for every meal. Breakfast and lunch and dinner were all fabulous

Lighthouse Cafe in Sanibel is absolutely outstanding! The food was incredible and the service was just as impressive. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in.

The salmon was hands down the best I’ve ever had — perfectly cooked, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and really care about every dish that leaves the kitchen.

If you’re in Sanibel and want amazing food with top-notch service, Lighthouse Cafe is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!

Excellent food. Fairly priced given the resort nature of this area. Good service. If you like lighthouses then this place is extra cool because all the decor is photos and paintings of lighthouses of the world with an emphasis on US lighthouses.

Just as we remembered it and only made better with a new location! Lighthouse café is a Sanibel staple offering a delicious breakfast until 2 PM. We can’t wait to come back next year.

Food was good, service was good. Food portion was a little stingy (as usual). Side of bread was generous so I filled up on bread.

The wife and I dined here for breakfast on 7/19/25. The restaurant is clean and the staff friendly and attentive. We both had the Lighthouse Cafe egg breakfast. The breakfast was good. The side of homemade strawberry jam was very good.

I don’t usually write reviews, and I definitely don’t like leaving bad ones, but this experience was too disappointing not to mention. There wasn’t any real effort to resolve the issue, and our server—a tall blonde woman who didn’t give us her name—became confrontational before there was any reason for things to escalate.
My mom and I flew in from Ohio for a quick birthday trip to escape the cold and hopefully find a few cute restaurants to add to our “let’s come back” list. Unfortunately, this won’t be one of them. We had high hopes—the place is adorable, and the menu looked great.
I ordered the seafood griddle. When it came out, the presentation wasn’t very appealing. I know presentation isn’t everything, but after one bite it was clear something wasn’t right. I politely asked if I could order something else instead. The dish was taken away, and I ordered a replacement.
When the bill came, we noticed we had been charged for three entrées instead of the two we actually kept and ate. Not wanting to cause an issue, we just paid the full amount. I recently left the service industry myself, so I understand how important tips are, and we were planning to leave a 25% cash tip.
However, when we pressed “skip” on the card reader (because we planned to tip in cash), our server confronted us and asked how we intended to tip her since nothing was added to the card. I’ve never had that happen before, and it’s not something I would have ever done when I was serving.
What should have been about a $39 bill plus tip ended up being closer to $50 plus tip, along with an uncomfortable interaction from our seemingly entitled waitress.

We visited on a relatively busy morning but immediately got a table outside. The atmosphere was very pleasant as well as the service.
Food was delicious. They have the best side potatoes (Lighthouse Potatoes) ever!
Only the parking was a little bit challenging and I assume you’ll have to wait a little longer on busy days if you want to sit inside.
