The flavors were a bit plain, but the cocktails were good. Our server was a bit hard to understand in English. Overall, I think the place is just okay for the price.

It’s ok Mexican food. There is definitely better out there, especially for the prices they charge. Chips were good with green salsa. Red salsa is ok. Enchiladas are basic and not something I would be in a rush to come back for. Lunch prices are much more reasonable, so maybe that would be a better time to come. Margaritas are pretty good and strong.

First visit since the new ownership. We love the brightness and the openness. Had to wait a little to get our order taken but after that everything went as quickly as we remember. All in all we were pleased with our experience.

Del Pueblo has been a Cypress staple ever since I can remember. Been coming here for 25 years!! The prices have soared, the restaurant is 3 times bigger and the food is good enough. Being from Houston’s barrio, my expectations are higher than most gringas. Everyone here seems happy!!

I love getting the, oh I forget the name, but it’s a steak with Monterrey Jack cheese and mushrooms and onions on top. I’ll attach a picture. I also like how you can order a half order of guacamole. Everyone who works there is super friendly. Gina, usually bartending, is super sweet and always has good recommendations. Luz, I believe is her name, is super attentive too and never forgets about me when I’m dining on the patio. The hostess is friendly and helpful as well 🙂 margaritas are STRONG.

My son and I ate at this restaurant since I have noticed it being really busy in the evenings. We arrived at about 330p on a weekday. There were only about 4 other tables occupied. I am in a wheelchair and there was an employee holding the inner doors open as my son wheeled me in. They seated us at a booth that the waitress said was accommodating to me being able to move the bench to sit and my son able to push it back towards the table once I was seated. Service was on top of everything before we could even think to ask. Our appetizer was brought along with our drinks with the first 5 mins of being seated. We really like different types of chicken enchiladas which they had several selections. Both of our choices were served hot with the standard warning of the platter being burning hot within 10 mins or so of ordering. Everything was delicious and plentiful in quantity to fill us up with leftovers to take home for lunch the next day. The waitress bagged up our leftovers and brought me a to go drink since I had not drank much of my Iced Tea. She and another employee were extremely helpful in assisting my son and I exit the building and get to our vehicle with our take home goodies in tow. I would definately recommend this place for their excellent service and going above and beyond in making it easy for me to dine here. And the food is an excellent choice as well!

The service and atmosphere was great. Very clean restaurant and attentive server. The food on the other hand was decent for its price. Very fulfilling just not the best taste. The beef quesadillas was good and the refried beans and rice was decent. I only had a problem with the enchiladas. They seemed over cooked and the meat tastes dry. The salsa was not my favorite because I like it to be more spicy but if mild is for you then the flavor wasn’t bad at all.
I went doing the lunch schedule so the price of the food was not expensive at all so that was a plus. I will visit again just to try a different dish.

Ordered the street tacos and The chicken fajita and shrimp plate. There was absolutely NO Flavor whatsoever! The chicken fajitas were so bland and the beef fajitas were super greasy with no taste at all! This was our first time ordering from here. Sorry but never again.

The staff here is always friendly and helpful. I love that they have a Kids Eat Free night (Mondays) and so many menu (and smoothie) options. The atmosphere is fun, to include the little wishing well fountain in the front. Very few places have meat sauce / chili con carne, which I prefer on my enchiladas – they do! If you follow the instructions on the table, you can get a free soda/tea. Their sopapilla order is one huge, flaky pillow with all the fixings – sugar, cinnamon, whipped cream, a cherry, and honey on the side.
