My husband took my out for dinner for my birthday. They atmosphere was nice, laid back but not so casual that I didn’t feel like I wasn’t being treated for a special occasion. The service was impeccable. Our waitress Iris was very informative, and attentive. The food itself was top notch. Can not wait to go back!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. I want to preface by saying Demond should be ashamed. While he sat out in his restaurant with his family and enjoyed his time with them, his restaurant is in shambles. If it was a good experience I’d be happy for someone to be able to have dinner with their family while their restaurant is running. As a woman of color, he is giving into the stereotype. I took my mother and grandmother here for Mother’s Day. The whole reason I booked here was because I saw they were serving lobster tail and king crab today, along with the buffet. We paid extra for that on Eventbrite, not a problem. We get there and are told that Demond made a mistake on the lobster tail and king crab, they were out and that he would like to make us a reservation, to “roll out the red carpet” for us at a different time to remedy that. We went on about our day and after looking at the buffet we decided to order off the menu as the food didn’t look warm.. it’s a buffet I know, but we were already disappointed. We ordered two 3 meat platters. They were out of ribs and when our food came out, to our surprise, they didn’t even clean off the pin FEATHERS for both of the platters. Feathers on our chicken, disgusting. Brisket and pork were cold. Then as we waited over an hour for the replacement, we got no ice for our waters. When we saw the waiter towards the end I asked for ice. 2/4 pieces of brisket were giant pieces of fat. The chicken wings and the half chicken were dry cooked to the bone, so hardly any meat on it. Garlic parm sauce was broken and gross feeling in your mouth, the table next to us they were missing items they were served the wrong dishes. Our meal was comped, but that’s not what we were looking for, money wasn’t the issue it was the overall lack of caring and pride in a product they are serving at this place. Total disgrace

The Atwood burger is so yummy! Juicy warm burger with really yummy barbecue sauce! We had a large group of 10 people, and they were very accommodating. It was nice to sit outside and look at the beautiful view of the lake! Our server Tia was awesome and so nice!

Epic fail on all levels with exception of our waitress who also was the ONLY bartender on a Saturday evening.
Aliyha was great everything else not so much!
Had over an hour wait due to kitchen being behind. Asked to be sat at a table so we could order drinks and enjoy each other’s company in our party, told no they could not seat us at a table until the kitchen could serve us. Even though we were all wanting to order drinks. Food quality was poor once we did get seated.
Glasses in which we did get drinks in were not clean.
Asked to be sat outside, told there were only tables with four chairs and they couldn’t move tables together or add an extra chair for a party of 5.
As we could see food being prepared the flies were horrendous.
Should have left but will not be back.
Demond needs to manage this restaurant and not leave “kids” in charge.
Again, Aliyha was the only positive.

A fantastic meal whether you’ve been out all day on the lake or looking for a nice local place to eat. Our server was wonderful, polite & prompt. And the view is gorgeous! Will be back!

I really enjoy the atmosphere by the lake. I was happy to see it’s gonna be open all year……until I went in. We had a pickup order. When I went in to get my order it wasn’t ready. I ordered 2 small Pepsi’s. What a mistake. That was $8, they were a small. The girl had a smug attitude, don’t k ow why. The potato bombs were terrible. At $2 a piece (order is 5) I almost couldn’t eat them. I had to stuff them down with my straw. So I probably won’t be back. The smoked chicken quesadilla was very good. The salsa tasted like it was watered down with a cheap hot sauce.

Had both dinner and lunch here while on a family road trip. Delicious! We definitely all of our leftovers, which didn’t happen most of the trip. Also a delightful place to dine in on the water! Highly recommend the salads!

Lake is beautiful for boating, kayaking swimming and they allow dogs on the pontoon boats. The lighthouse restaurant serves excellent food. A variety of seafood, hamburgers and American cuisine. It’s a beautiful place to spend the day with the family on the water, at the beach or walking trails.
