I was so excited to try this place after seeing a review on TikTok. They were bragging about how good it is and tasted delicious. False. We ordered a family meal 20 pieces of red snapper, shrimp, oysters creole rice and Mac and cheese. And banana pudding for dessert. First of all the fish was overcooked. 20 pieces of hard, dried out fish that we couldn’t even enjoy. The Mac and cheese taste bland with absolutely no flavor at all. The banana pudding wasn’t sweet, and tasted like sugar free pudding. I have never had sugar free banana pudding. I’m sorry but you only get one shot at a first impression. We definitely will not be returning to LICKING FRIED CHICKEN. Y’all should give people an option if they want hard fried fish or not.

Went here on a Friday afternoon. There’s a parking lot and available spaces. Walking inside, the place is clean, cutesy and inviting. There’s plenty of seating, although, it would be beneficial to have separate tables for smaller groups. There’s only 2 big tables. I feel like you’d have to sit with others at the table if it got busy. No music that I remember. The menus are easy to read. The service was nice, although a smile wouldn’t hurt. The prices are fair. Now, onto the food. I ordered the 3 strips with mac & cheese. They only have a few soda options to drink, unless you’re there for boba. So, I got strips. By the way, they can’t add sauces on top of the strips, but you can ask for basic condiments. I got bbq sauce and hot sauce, both were pre packaged. The hot sauce had a lot of red40 in it. It stained the chicken red. The food came in a cute box, looks like it would be really good. The food was hot. I got a couple pieces extra inside, I’m assuming cause the strips were small. The strips were juicy, crunchy, but NO FLAVOR at all. But wait, there’s more… the mac&cheese, isn’t mac&cheese, it’s noodles with colored water. No FLAVOR. I mean, absolutely no flavor, no salt, pepper, nada. I was so disappointed. I didn’t even eat the noodles. Everything was amazing, but the food. Love that it’s Khmer people that own this place, but I know they know how to flavor their food too. 🙁

Such a cute and welcoming family spot! We ordered the shrimp rolls and watermelon tea—both were delicious. The interior is super clean and nicely decorated. The service was great, and they were even okay with our dog inside, which we really appreciated. Definitely recommend! Bonus points for the restroom—very clean!

I went here the other day to get chicken and boba. The boba and dessert side was amazing! But when I got home and seen my chicken it looked old and had a bad smell the Mac and cheese tasted like boxed Mac and cheese with zero flavor. I called 5 times to ask for a refund for the meal I got because if I would’ve ate it my stomach would not have been okay but no one answered. So I drove all the way back and told them the chicken looked old and doesn’t smell right and the Mac had no flavor I need a refund and the lady gave me attitude and said they had just made that chicken but trust me I know what old nasty chicken looks like and it was soggy. So after explaining to her I can’t eat that she finally gives me a refund. Please be careful if you eat here and make sure the chicken is fresh and just know the food there is very bland. But the dessert side was great. Also it’s a bit pricey for there combos.

The staff here is just lovely. They’re very good at explaining the different things and giving you as much detail about the products is good. They even tasted and tell you what their opinions are about the foods and drinks that they serve, which is very good input for me I really enjoy it when the staff know how the food drinks taste. they drink in the photo is called the pixie potion. It is a concoction of a bunch of fruit and floral flavors. It is the best. I’ve never tried it. This is the first time I tried it today and it is awesome so I would suggest the drink if you make your way over here

Chicken 10/10 boba 10/10 employees amazing. I told her I’d be back tomorrow the only thing is that they forgot my rolls in the combos & the combos don’t come with fries you have to order it as an additional side very delicious made to order. FLAVOR‼️

Cheesecake was bomb. Chocolate cake was chocolately delicious. My matcha creme brulee latte was on point. My family loved their drinks. The service was friendly and great. Will definitely be back again to try more boba drinks and their chicken.

Food was gross, mashed potatoes definitely powder box fake potatoes, rice was dry and dull. The chicken breading tasted like kfc but the chicken meat was not cooked all the way and smelled funny. Nobody was ahead of me and it took 25 mins for my food! Don’t recommend at all! Not tasty, waste of money and time.
Responding to your reply, what I think is uncooked? Umm pink chicken is not cooked all the way and shouldn’t smell bad either. Yeah wait 25 minutes for uncooked chicken and crappy disgusting sides! No thank you it’s in the trash! And I added a picture , see the date the next day. Gross food!
