On a cold, weekday evening my foodie companion and I decided to try something new and headed out to try Lib’s Grill in Maple Lawn. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, welcoming and not pretentious, a mix of couples, families, and groups of friends enjoying a night out. The restaurant was bustling, the bar area was nearly full and while we did have a reservation, it appeared not to be absolutely necessary. Service was friendly, prompt, and informative.
I started with one of their craft cocktails and our server recommended a beer for my friend. The drinks were perfectly refreshing and a good start to our evening. When my friend saw they had oysters, this convinced him we had chosen wisely. We selected a mix of their oyster offerings. They arrived chilled and with just the right amount of condiments making for a tantalizing slurp to start our dinner. For starters, we selected the Brussels Sprouts and the Roasted Beet Carpaccio. The Brussels were perhaps some of the best we’ve had in quite some time, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The goat cheese on the Beet Carpaccio was very good, but for me, the flavor profile wasn’t quite there, it needed a little more acidity. For dinner, my friend selected the Shrimp and Grits, and I chose the Argentinian Steak. While quite good, constructive criticism would be that the vinegar in the chimichurri, smothered an otherwise perfectly cooked, flavorful steak and the rosemary overpowered the roasted potatoes. The grits, while delicious, were almost too creamy rich, but otherwise a delicious blend of sausage and shrimp. For dessert, we shared the Key Lime Pie and the Carrot Cake. The cake was very good, but we weren’t fans of the hardened frosting top, and we wished the Key Lime Pie had even more tart, lime flavor.
The portions were plentiful, the price point was reasonable, and all plates were wonderfully presented. The friendly neighborhood environment, atmosphere, and service all enhanced our dining experience. Definitely give them a try, we will return and look forward to it.

My husband and I decided to dine at Lib’s for our anniversary. It was the best decision ever. The food and service was exceptional. Linda our waitress was very responsive in our dining experience. She was friendly and professional. We appreciate her willingness to ensure we got appetizers timely since we actually arrived 45 minutes before dinner started. Thanks Linda for providing outstanding customer service. We will be back!

Such a perfect brunch spot!
We ordered the crab cake bagel, apple pie pancake, and oysters!! Everything was delicious. The flavours were so fresh and well-balanced, and the apple pie pancake was such a cozy, sweet surprise! The service was also fantastic, our waiter was super friendly and even showed us a magic trick at the table, which totally made our morning.
Loved the vibe, loved the food. Will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic dinner here! The seafood was incredibly fresh and yummy across the board. Pistachio salmon was cooked perfectly. Moist flavorful and seasoned right. The spaghetti pasta was absolutely delicious, rich and satisfying without being too heavy. We also tried their seafood flatbread which was a standout crisp, generously topped and full of flavors. Wonderful dining experience. Only missing thing was dessert. I didn’t see any options listed which was a bit disappointing after such a great meal. Still overall food was excellent. Highly recommended.

We hosted my mom’s 60th surprise birthday party here last night for about 20 people in the oyster bar area, and it could not have gone better.
I was able to contact the manager ahead of time to plan everything for a larger group, and the process was easy from start to finish. We got on the books without any issues and even named a special drink after the birthday girl for the night, which was such a fun touch.
The staff was overall incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive the entire evening. The food was delicious, and everyone left very satisfied. Our server was honestly the best we could have asked for. She remembered everyone’s drink and food orders, handled splitting a large group tab into multiple checks effortlessly, and stayed upbeat and attentive all night. She was always one step ahead and anticipated what we needed before we even asked.
To top it off, the manager surprised my mom with a special gift on the way out to celebrate her big 60th milestone, which meant a lot to us.
I’m so grateful for how smoothly everything went. Guests kept commenting on how happy they were with the food, the service, and the overall atmosphere. The ambiance, staff, and experience were all excellent. I’m a very happy customer and will absolutely be returning to Lib’s.

I enjoyed my visit here I had the golden sherry. The dish was okay I just think I chose the right item after reading over other things in the menu. I enjoyed the potatoes. The fish was fresh and the sauce was blended well. I prefer a more traditional fish dish without the sauce. The server Roosevelt was very friendly and does a good job in ensuring that everyone leaves satisfied.

We came in for a bite to eat and what an atmosphere was awesome! Football was on and fans of all teams were having a great time. We also sat at the bar and met Roosevelt the bartender and he was such a great individual. He made us laugh, made sure we were taken care of on top of supporting the locals. We will be coming back due to that young man’s service. Food was great, and the price point for the overall high quality meal has many place in the are best hands down. This place is 10 out of 10 will definitely recommend!

I have been to Lib’s grill 3 times now. I love their Brussels sprouts and their main sandwiches! They have great service and a good row of desserts to choose from. I tried their Korean fried chicken bowl for the first time- chicken was crispy, the veggies were really tangy and it was delicious!

Hunter was awesome! There was a mixup with my dinner order & she was quick to correct it! Things happen, four managers came by our table to apologize and assure us that they were getting it cooked. Complimentary treat at the end if our meal. Always great service and good food at Libs!
