We both went to library 2 for a nice fancy restaurant thinking we will get a 5 start experience. How ever the staff and waitress we had were amazing and very nice the scenery was very pretty. But the biggest problem is I paid over $60 for a flaming yawn steak but the steak was very bland with no seasoning at all and tasted very dry, for a rare steak. Very disappointed in the food hear.

We have been coming here for years and our last two visits The food was very mediocre. The filet mignon was tough. And we traveled two hours to go here and they still have not taken the crab legs off of the menu. What is going on with that?if you’re not gonna have crab legs take it off your menu. Very disappointing. I got the combo fillet and lobster. There is no way my lobster tail with an 8 ounce lobster tail. The bus person was the best thing there he was very efficient taking care of us

I visited this restaurant using a gift card, and unfortunately, I would not choose to spend my own money dining here.
Lets start with Customer service, which was below expectations throughout the experience. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff was not welcoming—no smile or friendly greeting, just a blunt “Hello, do you have a reservation?” It didn’t set a positive tone.
Our waiter was barely present during the meal. When we did see her, she didn’t seem very friendly and appeared irritated. The same attitude was noticeable from the chef when ordering the meat, which made the interaction uncomfortable rather than enjoyable.
Worst of all, we were seated next to the salad and bread station. We witnessed another guest cutting bread, dropping half of it, and then placing it back on the cutting board for others to use. I immediately informed a staff member, but no one removed the bread. This was extremely concerning from a hygiene and food safety standpoint.
As for the food, the salad bar was just okay. The stuffed cod was bland, while the salmon was very good. Unfortunately, the steak was not cooked medium rare as ordered. Overall, the food did not justify the price. We’ve honestly had much better meals at much cheaper establishments.
Overall, the combination of poor service, food safety concerns, and inconsistent food quality made this a disappointing experience.

Steaks were significantly undercooked and tough, we ordered medium. The lobster bisque was cold, salad bar was decent. Showed the server the steaks, who apologized but didn’t seem to care or rectify. Service overall was lackluster.

Atmosphere was nice.

From the hostess desk and staff to the management our experience was awful. We ordered 3 Rib Eye Steaks and not only were they tasteless but one of them was obviously a Strip Steak and not a Rib Eye. It looked entirely different from the other two. When we told our waitress and management they took the steak away and said they would correct it. The front manager came back 10 minutes later WITHOUT the steak we had gotten or any other steak and said “sorry, the kitchen manager said he refuses to change it or take it off the bill”. And, with regard to all the steaks being tasteless, she said that they don’t ever season their steaks, they just put them on the grill. In my opinion when spending 60.00 per steak, you should get a tasty steak and the type steak you paid 60.00 for. Suffice it to say it was an absolutely disappointing experience and the management was beyond horrible. Definitely wouldn’t go back or ever recommend it to anyone!!

Awful experience. The waiter was rude and seemed annoyed by us. We got there 2 minutes after our party was sat. The server brought over drinks to the couple we were with and completely ignored us. We never received place settings, or water for that matter. The service was beyond terrible. The guy was in a piss poor mood and clearly did not want us to order anything, because when we would order one thing, he would just walk away when the rest of the table still had to order. My steak was under cooked-I ordered medium, it came out RARE. Would have loved to have it brought up in temperature, but the guy never returned. We ordered dessert, when he returned he threw it down on the table. Upon eating the dessert we discovered plastic in it. My brother in law ordered an espresso, which he never got. He threw the check down on the table, and returned immediately to retrieve it. He also came back within seconds after it was signed.

All in all it was a terrible experience. The server was absolutely miserable and ruined our night. Skip this place. It’s not worth it for the money you spend.

My wife and I had dinner here in celebration of our wedding anniversary last night and were very glad we did. Everything from the atmosphere & service to the food & drinks were amazing.

My wife had the 8oz filet and I had the 14oz NY strip. We both got a baked potato and shared a few other sides (mushrooms, Mac and cheese & creamed spinach). The portions were huge! Steaks were cooked perfectly, tender and delicious. The salad bar was a great start. Everything was fresh and the bread options were plentiful.

For dessert we tried the cheesecake and the apple cobbler – both were perfect. We brought home plenty of leftovers. Looking forward to visiting again very soon.

The manager Kevin was rude and portrayed poor service to our party. We celebrated a birthday dinner and there were several things wrong: food delivered late, added additional items on our bill that was not ours, served my crab meat cold, gave us a waiter to serve our table ALONE on his first night, and didn’t serve our party their food at once. After speaking to the manager Kevin, he expressed lack of concern. After calling the day before asking about how the bill would be split, we arrive and the rules suddenly change, causing a conflict with how the transaction of the bill would be paid. I felt bad that I discovered it was the servers first day. Why send him to a table for a party of 15 by himself with no one to help him? Why serve our table with cold food? Why have our guests stay behind an additional 25 minutes to see why items were randomly placed on our bill that we didn’t order? Most managers would at least apologize for the chaos but Kevin? Nope, his response was “the bill has to be paid”. After coming to a conclusion and adding our bill properly, by ourselves, several items were deleted. We literally had to go back and request the order sheet from our server to see how the order was taken. Kevin’s hospitality was extremely poor and I do NOT recommend this place to anyone. I understand mishaps do occur in restaurants, but leadership as a supervisor is extremely important and it’s demonstrated when conflicts take place. I used to go there often BUT never again.

One bartender ruined this place for me. Used to be a somewhat regular here. My family has been coming for years. This used to be my grandfather’s hang out back in the 70s and 80s. My dad used to bring our family here for steaks. I used to recommend this place. Again, one bartender, multiple experiences with him brought this from a 5 to 0. And, I’m a good tipper. I will never return here. Sorry.

Honestly, nothing exceptional about this restaurant. Overall, it was different and an experience but that’s about it. The restaurants concept of a library was cool but the entire time we were there it smelled like old or used (like a thrift store,) which was off putting.

The service was good. I appreciated our server, who was knowledgeable and kind.

There’s a window where you place your order but you can also place it with your server if you wish to. There was a salad bar as well, which was okay.

The steaks were good but nothing mind blowing. The side options were underwhelming. The cheesesteak egg rolls were my favorite and I definitely recommend for a starter.

For drinks, my partner ordered a mixed drink that was basically water, which was disappointing. I did order a very pleasant red blend, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
