Simple but elegant food is perfectly complemented by the restaurants Azulejo décor which is a characteristic element of Portuguese culture. Fantastic flavorful food! Rock shrimp comes with that heavenly Mozambique sauce that should be bottled and sold. My friend loved their octopus. Nice ambiance and great service. Ample parking. I’m trying cod fish /Bacalhau and lobster stuff next time.
The chef came out to say hello and such attentive and friendly staff!

I was visiting St. Petersburg area for a trip and randomly pick this restaurant. Everything I had in this restaurant exceeded my expectations and I am highly recommending it. I will def come back again next time when I visit St. Petersburg.
First thing first, The food is gorgeous. We ordered the sausage on fire, squid and octopus on pan for appetizers, then pork cutlet and steak on stone for entrees, Portuguese tarts for dessert. Sausage on fire exceeds my expectations as it has a unique smoky flavor and it is salty but not too salty. I strongly recommend . Squid and octopus on pan is an excellent combination of tomato plus garlicky flavor. It reminds me of some flavor of traditional Cantonese dishes. I wish I can eat that sauce with some rice/bread!
The pork cutlet is the best pork I have had in US. I am very picky in pork in terms of the level of tenderness, freshness. This pork cutlet is fresh and slightly seasoned . Again, it keeps the original flavor of the meat and not being too flavorful and too salty . The steak on stone is good as well. I can control how well it cooked by myself.
Lastly , Portuguese egg tart is the last highlight of the dinner. It is crispy outside and soft inside with the right level of sweetness for the custard part.
I really like how well the chef control the level of flavor and seasoning for all the meat, seafood and desserts.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is great as well. It is def a plus to my overall visit experience. It is clean and bright but not too bright. They also have good selection of music (not too loud or too quiet)
The service is also excellent. They took care of my needs very well but not being too “involving” in your meal. I love how they introduce the food and the Portuguese culture behind the food.
Again , highly recommend this restaurant.

What an amazing restaurant. It’s a beautiful place. The food, service, and environment are above and beyond. We had sardines, bacalhau com natas, and octopus. Carlos Roberto, our server, was super helpful in helping us to choose the best option. He did an excellent job. We will come back very soon.

Update second visit: everything except for one steak and the reaction was great
We ordered a steak medium rare and it came medium well/well. It honestly wasn’t a big deal but they were trying to argue it was. It was grey and tough! We offered to pay for another one and didn’t want anything.
They snagged it before I could take a pic of the inside and I didn’t think they’d make a big deal
The rest of the food was fantastic but idk why they were so adamant
Everything we ordered was so good! This place is an easy favorite. We will definitely be back.

Nice place with great Portuguese food, everything we ordered was very good, amazing flavor. Our server Carlos Alberto was very nice and friendly. We had Bacalhau a Zé do Pipo, Bacalhau a Brás, and of course pastéis de bacalhau. For dessert pastéis de Belém and Doce da Avó, both amazing.

I’ll keep it plain and simple. The quality of the food here is very low. The mac & cheese off the kids menu was easy mac from a box not joking. My wife had the lamb chops and I had the tiger shrimp. Both were just very bland. The sauce on the shrimp was flavorless as well as the home fries that came with it. The lamb was not seasoned and was in a sauce that really didn’t have much flavor. There are a lot of good restaurant’s in Saint Petersburg, this one does not come close to the standard of food in the area.

Came here for dinner with a friend. Food and drinks were delicious. Service was great as well. We started with the salted codfish fritters, super good. For dinner, I had the grilled salmon which was cooked to perfection but my friend had the bacalhau com natas and oh my god, it was insanely tasty. Highly recommend making a reservation as they were packed by the time we left around 8:30. Definitely a place of check out!
