This bakery is truly a hidden gem and one of the best I’ve ever been to ! It’s a small, cozy shop filled with the most tempting display cases of butter cookies, breadsticks, and fresh loaves — it’s impossible to choose just one ✨. They even have pan pizzas that smell absolutely amazing . The service was outstanding — the lady (possibly the owner) and the young girl at the counter were super kind and patient, and a gentleman from the back even came out to chat with us . Everything tasted incredibly fresh — the focaccia, Italian bread, and butter cookies were perfection . The prices are unbelievably reasonable (I even checked twice to make sure it was right ). Just remember — it’s cash only, so bring some bills with you! Highly recommend this charming little bakery .

Went here today, haven’t been here in years. Everything is the same, it’s like walking backwards in time. Their pizzas are exactly how I remember them from when my Nana would get them for weekend sleepovers!! I actually cried when I took my first bite today. THANK YOU LIBORIO for many many years of great pizzas! ♥️

We have been coming here for years. Great bakery, but lately in the last 6 months we have noticed the pizza bread is kinda soggy in the middle. Used to be $8 and now $14..kinda a lot, but isn’t everything?

This is by far one of the best bread bakeries I’ve been to. It’s a very small store front with display cases full of butter cookies and bread sticks. The shelf behind the counter is full of bread. It is so overwhelming because you want to buy one of each loaf. They also had pan pizzas on the racks as well. Service was awesome! The lady (assuming she was the owner) and the young girl were very patient with us and were very friendly. A gentleman came out from the back and was also talking with us for a bit. The prices are so reasonable I had to double check they didn’t forget to ring me up for something. Butter cookies, focaccia bread, and Italian bread were as fresh as can be. They ONLY take cash so just have some money in your pocket before going. Highly recommend!!!

Charming old world bakery with fantastic crusty bread, fresh baked and delicious. Stop in and get some long Italian bread loaves, and some round crusty village style loaves… Real nice chewy crust, and super soft and fluffy inside, just like Grandma used to buy! I picked up a really nice loaf of regular white bakery bread, which I sliced nice and thick and had with some fresh butter and jam! While you’re there, have a nice chat with the sales ladies!

This is the best bakery hands down in all of Chicagoland. Great family business that bakes the bread we know. I get the two pound loaf sliced every Sunday. Their pizza bread is one of the best around and the sausage bread is a must try!

Their truck driver is insane!
Driving on Irving Park Rd approaching Ruby Street this morning.
I tried to change lanes way ahead of him and he kept speeding up. When I managed to change lanes he drove up beside me honked and almost side swiped me.
Get a new driver!
