I was looking for a good steak in a Tap Room atmosphere and this place was just right. It has substantial size dining and bar areas.
They weren’t real busy on a Wednesday in December, so we were able to seat ourselves at a large booth in the bar area. It took a while for a server to get started with us, but he was on point thereafter. I enjoyed the $5 draft New South IPA (twice).
My wife had a nice piece of salmon and I enjoyed the 12-oz ribeye. Our server recommended the steaks, and the ribeye was tender, well-marbled, and delicious.

Liberty Tap room was a good option for lunch. There are plenty of tables so many can be seated at once. The food was good but not great. My she crab soup wasn’t hot and my flatbread with chicken and pineapples was good except the pineapples were cold. Ice cold. My partner’s burger was tasty. Good beer selection.

Scheduled a family reunion group (26) luncheon here last Saturday 8/2/25 based off positive reviews. Nothing but positivity from 11am – 1pm, manager and staff were very accommodating.
Food was excellent, I received the Shrimp and Grits which was excellent, my only complaint, I felt they could have doubled the amount of grits, think I had 8 spoons of grits given the cost 8.9 of 10, more grits 10 of 10. Every one else stated their food was on point, delicious.
I tried my cousin’s meatloaf, wow, tasted like it was somehow seared, mash potatoes on top and middle, excellent 10 of 10. My wife enjoyed her BBQ Baby Back Ribs-Half Rack and greens, she gave me a small taste, very good, fries were bland, she said greens were good. My daughter got the Jambalaya pasta dish that had some spice to it, I tried a full fork taste, excellent 8.5 of 10. My other daughter Freedom Burger and greens, she enjoyed it. Daughters ordered Taproom Chicken Nachos appetizer, good. My mother enjoyed her Fish and Chips didn’t care that much for the fries, the fish was cod.

We orden Shrimp, Calamari and a Crown Burguer. The food was good, maybe 7/10.
The service on the other hand was really good, our server was really attentive and friendly at all times. He gives us the recommendation for our drinks, Frozen Rosé Dragon Fruit flavor and a Watermelon Mule, both drinks were delicious 10/10!

Along with my wife we stopped by the Liberty Tap Room and Grill today around lunchtime for a cool drink and found it to be very nice, pleasant atmosphere although they were not very busy. Had a few drinks but my wife wanted something different than the options they provided so we moved on after a nice visit. We will return in the next day or two because our motel is just down the street. Thanks guys we will be back.

Went here for the 1st time on Saturday September 27th 2025 with my parents and aunt. My aunt suggested this place because I was craving a burger. We walked in, and a sign said that we can seat ourselves, so we did that. We arrived at around 4:30PM on a saturday. Some people were there, but it wasn’t busy. We sat at a booth by the bar. They had lots of Tvs showing all different sports from baseball to football, to soccer. A server greeted us right away and gave us menus. They have game day specials, as well as Happy Hour every day specials. We all started with 4 waters. I ordered the Watermelon Mule, My aunt ordered a whisky, and my parents ordered titos with sprite. We started with chicken nachos and Fried Zuchini. Nachos were very good, as well as the Zuchini, although it was piping hot! For entrees I got the taproom burger with no cheese, My aunt got blue burger, my mom got the freedom burger, and my dad got the special surf burger with shrimp. Food came out in a timely manner. Burgers were cooked to order and very tasty and tender! Enjoyed them! Server also was pleasant and made sure to check on us constantly. food was delicous! Paid via credit card and left a cash tip. Hope to be back again when I am craving a Burger!

Service of getting food was great. Food was very good. We had shrimp and grits ( spicy) and fried pickles. The overall service was poor due to our server having 2 large tables in a different area of the restaurant. My husband never got a drink refill which was empty for some time. We waited at least 10 minutes for our check. I finally had to ask hostess to have someone please bring our check. The waitress and manager both apologized and manager brought the check. The restaurant overall was not very busy we had 6pm reservation and were seated quickly.

Very friendly staff and manager, they each checked with us to see if food was good, steak was very tasty and coked to our desire, service was very prompt even though restaurant was very busy, this night it was 2 for 1 dinners which was a great deal, this seemed to be a very well run restaurant, we will definitely return, we returned a few weeks later and food and service are still excellent

We are out on the patio and it was our servers first night. Dimitry, did great! We got a little bit of everything. We started with hush puppies, fried pickles and calamari. I recommend all of them. So good. Then we got kids cheeseburger and fries, crab cakes, grouper bites and she crab soup. All of it was good and responsibly priced.

We went yesterday for their January 2-for-1 Thursday Specials. My wife enjoyed the prime rib and I had a full rack of ribs, we both had two sides with our meals. Great value getting one free and also had enough left over for lunch.
Our server Arianda (?) was excellent. She was attentive and prompt when re-filling water glasses, etc. And, she ensured my wife’s dairy allergy was noted to the kitchen staff and helped her make selections for her meal.
They also have a great Happy Hour and we each had a local craft beer for $5.
This is a good place for a cocktail, appetizer or a full meal.
