I’ve tried two sandwiches at Liberty Kitchen: their famed kale Cesar cutlet sandwich and the chicken parm sandwich. The kale Cesar cutlet is dynamite a solid A grade! The chicken parm was disappointing: the texture of the chicken was stringy and it could have used more cheese. The spicy garlic mayo is definitely a plus but not enough to salvage it. I give it a middling B grade. Quick service and friendly staff. Worth a visit or two. I’ll be returning for the kale Cesar cutlet!

Stopped in last Wednesday for a Kale Caesar Cutlet after seeing it all over social media. I also got a Meatball Parm. Staff were friendly and got the orders out quickly. The place seemed clean. The Kale Caesar was decent. It had way more kale on it than necessary and the cutlet was pretty bland, but together with the Caesar dressing and crispy onion it was okay. The Meatball Parm was not good. It was sloppy and the meatballs were a little under cooked. This was my first time at Liberty Kitchen so I’m not sure if this is the norm or if it was just an off day.

Tased like fish and was dry/ bland. Tasted like bland fish…. We had the kale Caesar cutlet and the chicken parm sandwiches. I could understand more so the kale one maybe being a little fishy, depending on how the dressing is made but the parm one shouldn’t have that taste at all. Unfortunately not worth it for a near $20 sandwich. Save your money (or maybe try another location as it seems quite a few people have the same issues with it being bland/dry).

I was very disappointed with the service at this deli market. There was a clear line with several people waiting ahead of me. When it was finally my turn to order, a white male walked directly to the counter and placed his order before me. I asked the woman taking orders if there was not a line, and she responded, “He was just ordering a slice.”
This was frustrating, as she had no idea what I was planning to order and dismissed my concern without consideration.
When I reiterated that I had been waiting in line, she replied, “I can take your order too,” which completely missed the point and had an unprofessional attitude. At that moment, I decided to take my business elsewhere.
Overall, the customer service was poor, and the staff’s attitude left a very negative impression. The prices are also quite high given the experience. There are plenty of others in the area that offer better service and treat their customers with respect. I would not recommend this establishment.

Was there last week for lunch with a friend and I ordered the meatball Parm. I didn’t like the texture of it. The meatballs were stringy. The bread was too wet due to the amount of sauce, and the cheese was clumped up in one area. I tried my friend’s kale Caesar. It had too much kale. The chicken was insanely bland. There was no flavor to it. I barely could see the chicken when I took the bite. Would not recommend these 2 sandwiches.

I don’t know how anyone can justify a $5 up charge for a 6 inch gluten free roll. Regular rolls are 12 inch, that’s an insane markup.

I tried the Kale Caesar sandwich. It is located inside of a building that is the smaller version of the “Reading Terminal.” I ordered online, parked on a nearby street and walked up. The food was ready when I got there. The sandwich wasn’t as crispy or flavorful as I thought it would be. I ended up adding more Caesar dressing at home for more moisture and flavor.

Love the new LK in Chestnut Hill! The cutlet italiano is so good. Delicious cutlets and veggie toppings.. fresh mozz, yum!! Also love the tomato pie and of course the kale ceasar. The staff are friendly and the place is really cool and family friendly. Highly recommend!

The worst sandwich I’ve ever paid for outside of airport food. The turkey “pesto” is really a mountain of arugula and a gallon of balsamic dressing with a side of turkey. 0 pesto flavor and a truly awful experience
