Probably waited about 25 minutes to order, line was out the door when we arrived. However, it was worth the wait for us. Everything was absolutely delicious! The service was great and the outdoor seating was lovely and dog friendly so we got to pet some pups, always a bonus! I highly recommend this restaurant and will come again next time we are in the area!

Really good food and coffee. I had the duck hash bowl. Very tasty and flavorful. My girlfriend got the sourdough pancake and it was kinda underwhelming. It almost seemed raw in the middle. The hot lattes were great.

We went on a Saturday morning and had to wait nearly 30 minutes just to order our food. The majority of that wait was outside in the cold. Most of the available seating is outside as well so bring a jacket.

The parking situation is rough. No dedicated parking lot. You will have to find street parking. On busy days this can get difficult.

This place is DELICIOUS. We had the blood orange burrata, sourdough blueberry pancake, and shashuka. The coffee was also amazing – we both had the orange mocha. Best coffee I’ve ever had. The syrup is house made. We live in Orlando, and I wish we had this place back home!!

Can’t believe I didn’t know this place did food as well! Really exceptional cafe food and a great outdoor space within walking distance of downtown Asheville!

Delicious burger! Good coffee! Such a lovely atmosphere sitting outside:deck seating, garden seating umbrellas etc.

A friend told us we had to try this place and we’re glad we did. The quality of everything we tried was perfect, and the Sourdough buttermilk blueberry pancake is out of this world. This is one of the best breakfast places I’ve tried and will definitely return.

We enjoyed our experience here, but not sure it was out of this world as some of the other reviews would suggest. The coffee was good. We got the sourdough pancake which was good, but I’m not sure I’d go out of my way to get it again. We also got a egg, bacon and sourdough plate – again there was nothing wrong with it, but was a bit pricey for its simplicity. We were able to bring out dog since there was outdoor seating so that is a plus!

I’ve never been in line before and changed my mind to divert to a pancake but wow. The sourdough pancake is awesome. Parking isn’t great and line is typically out the door at least when I go but not really any fault of their own. Definitely a spot I enjoy in town in a beautiful area.

Incredible coffee house. We stop here every trip to Asheville and have coffee in their garden. The food and coffee can not get any better. A must stop location if you are visiting.

Edit 2025: this is still the best coffee shop in Asheville. The specials on the weekend are to die for and I’m trying to get by here when they have the steak and eggs because I’ve heard it’s outstanding. Their new coffee with fig leaf syrup and cardamom is something that no coffee lover can miss

Definitely on the list of must visit at least once, the menu is somewhat limited but appears to change often, and has a variety of choices. Very interesting twists on classic dishes, such as pancakes that are exceptional. We didn’t find basic, standard breakfast fare on the menu. The restaurant is in a neighborhood setting in what appears to be a former residence. There was a healthy line out front to place your food order. This is done at the counter as soon as you enter. Seating is to either side. Portions are large, and we left more than full. This might be a place choose when looking for nice atmosphere with out of town friends to share a liesurely meal. Very dog friendly, as is much of Asheville.
