A cozy place to enjoy new dishes with friends. Booths, small tables or a long L shaped bar to pull up against. Simple, understated yet warm atmosphere. Our server was awesome. The perfect blend of attention, knowledge and autonomy. I arrived earlier than opening for lunch on a cold day. She was compasionate and let me in and warmed me with fresh coffee. The lunch menu fit on a single sheet and everything we ate was wonderful. I would be more specific but I was there to catch up with friends. The fact that we had a great time and all enjoyed our meals tells me that Lexington S&B is worth going back to.

The Lexington is a must! Be sure to make a reservation. We didn’t but we’re lucky enough to get seated around the bar. The actual restaurant/bar has such a great vibe, and every person working was exceptional! Not only could you feel the camaraderie between the employees but you saw and heard the passion they have for The Lexington.

The food and the atmosphere were amazing. The chicken wings were fantastic; I highly recommend them. The BBQ platter was also great!! Our server, Kim, was amazing. She is very nice and took good care of us during our dinner.

Delightful service, awesome food with good craft beer slection. I somehow received a platter meal (more than I had ordered). They were so apologetic, offered to discount my meal AND brought out extra ribs to ensure that I received everything that I wanted. That’s what “making things right” should look like in the service industry. By the way, everything on every plate was perfect cooked and flavorful. Recommend the shrimp & grits, ribs or brisket.

I am told dinner is much better than brunch (although the menu is already great! Meal of the champion with smoked meats…what can go wrong?!?!)

Ordered smoked brisket with poched egg but the egg was not runny at all. Overcooked. The brisket was missing the ooowe gooyey runny yoke so much that I had to point out to the waitress that the poached egg was way too cooked. She promptly went back to the kitchen and got me a perfectly poached egg. My brisket was beautifully envelopped. Amazing.

Would love to return in the evening for dinner.

Bonus for large groups: they take reservations and even have a semi private room.

good vibes, yummy food. special shoutout for the roasted brussel sprouts and bacon aioli, 10/10 sooo tasty.

cocktail menu was top notch, drinks were perfection and the 2000’s alt/emo music was unexpected but appreciated 🙂

Have been to Lexington many times over the past few years. Pictures are associated with the most recent dinner. Drinks included a Caesar and Dark N Stormy. Dinner included brussel sprouts as an appetizers and the bbq platter as the main (included ribs, fork and knife chicken, Mac and cheese, and potato salad). Overall the food is amazing here and good value for the price. Highly recommend the brussel sprouts. The service has slightly declined over the years – mostly in that it has gotten slower. For example, this evening sat at the bar and it took 30 minutes from when we received our drinks to put in a food order. Was wanting to order dessert and waited another 30 minutes without being checked in on (tried to get the servers attention several times). I also heard a different server complain to a customer (that he seemed to know) that he has to serve a party of 17 that was in the ‘party room.’ I’ve had great experiences with servers in the past, but the last few times service has been incredibly slow. The servers are typically very friendly and the atmosphere is good. Have also been here for brunch in the past and would recommended.

I was excited to try this place because the atmosphere feels like a higher-end smokehouse, warm and inviting. The waiter was friendly and explained the menu well. The pork belly burnt ends had nice flavor, but most were just chunks of fat with very little meat. The brisket-stuffed jalapeño peppers were disappointing too based on the name, I expected actual brisket pieces, but instead, it was just cream cheese. When I asked, the staff said the brisket was blended into the cheese, which really isn’t clear from the menu. They should change the wording so guests know what to expect. On the brighter side, the Caesar salad was excellent—the large piece of chicken on top made it feel unique. I might give this place another try, but overall, it didn’t quite live up to what I hoped for.

Kimberly served our table tonight. Absolute Rockstar. Best service no notes. Shrimp and grits in the photo. No gluten free dessert options loses a star on the foid rating for me but they do have a dedicated gluten free fryer which was nice.

The good: Great staff. Great cocktails. Great wine list. Lots of great food items on the menu – the pork belly, the pulled pork Mac & cheese and the Brussels Sprouts Caesar Salad are hidden gems, worth the visit for those alone.

The bad: the ribs are a BIG TIME miss – burnt, dry, couldn’t even finish them. For a BBQ joint, that’s real disappointing.

If you stay away from the ribs, you’ll have a great meal and a the staff will absolutely look after you. Great spot.
