Anyway, it was a wholesome experience and we would definitely recommend this place.
We’re going to stop in again to see if we find the one thing on the menu that really wows us and makes us want to turn into regulars. But all in all we had no complaints and we considered it a decent place to grab a hot meal. No long wait and again such great friendly service with a smile.
Note: Parking is a bit tight so keep that in mind if you want to hit this spot on a weekend or during typically busy hours.
I had the daily special: French Dip sandwich with drink included for $9.99. I did sub fries for the chips for $2.49 more and glad that I did.
One of the best French Dip sandwiches I’ve ever had. Service was good – had a new drink brought to me without asking when my first was still half full.
Definitely recommend giving this place a try.
My husband and I ordered onion rings to share, two hamburgers with fries, and two sodas. With a 20% tip calculated on the food portion only (note: the suggested tip amounts on the receipt were incorrectly based on the total bill), plus a credit card upcharge of about 3% and the additional 1% city sales tax for Roanoke, the total came to $56.93 — roughly $28.50 per person.
Overall, it was fine, but the pricing alone will likely keep me from returning.
The onion rings were ok. Not amazing. I also highly recommend the tomato basil soup!!!
The atmosphere isn’t bad for a bar setting at all. We saw several families with kids. The waiters and waitresses were very nice and down to earth.
Seriously… Philly Cheese steak!
EDIT 01182020 the Full Monty which is their double burger is (grilled to medium per request) amazing. The perfect amount of tomato, and cheese on a well toasted bun. I could not finish the one pound burger!
They have deep fried Oreos, which are the perfect way to end a meal here!
You really cannot go wrong!
And their staff, (especially Jerrod and the other bearded guy) continues to be top notch service!
