A viral bakery that sells biscuits 2-3x the normal size. As a tourist visiting NYC, it was a must-try. Despite having several locations, all of them had a long queue every time we passed. I reckon we were a bit lucky coming before dinner and were able to get in and out within 10 minutes.
It’s nice to see the transparency of the production and baking. The service was fast and efficient, and the staff was friendly.
Now for the cookies themselves. To be completely honest, I found them way too sweet. Also since they were so large, it felt a little uncooked in the centre. If you prefer soft, chewy cookies, you probably won’t enjoy these as much. However, my partner enjoyed them a lot. If you love super sweet, cake-like cookies, you’ll like them too.

I would get so fat if I lived near this Bakery because oh my god these are maybe the best cookies I’ve ever had. They are warm and absolutely melt in your mouth. I went on Saturday and the two chip chocolate chip cookie was so good that I returned Sunday to try the black and white chocolate chip cookie. It was even better than the one Saturday. I haven’t stopped thinking about these cookies since! Will definitely be back the next time I’m in the city!

I came here because a friend from Mexico mentioned there were viral videos about a trending cookie called The Rock. Honestly, it was really good. I’ve been living here for many years and had no idea this place existed, or that the bakery was so well known.
I really liked the fact that they bake everything on-site — you can tell there’s a lot of work and care behind it. The service was very fast and efficient, and the staff was kind, warm, and helpful, especially the cashiers who helped me choose.
I also noticed there was a lot happening in the back, with many trays of bread being prepared and a full team working, which added to the experience. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and would definitely come back to try other items, not just that cookie.

This was a super nice bakery, with their modern wooden style interior and huge beautiful display of all their pasties, bakeries and cookie products. They also had a large variety of hot and cold drinks. In the shelves they also had their coffee and merchandise products as well. There was some seating space by both the glass windows.
Our friends ordered the popular cookies set. We waited few minutes to collect the cookie box. I must say those cookies were outstanding. They were freshly baked, the chocolate filling was still melted inside. The crust and all other ingredients were also complimentary to the overall taste of the cookies. Hello! I was in this Levain Bakery location today. This location was super busy when I came by. It was around 3PM. My suggestion is to better line up folks. That way it’s more organized and convenient for everyone. P.S. – I got a White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookie! Super good and tasty !

I’m generally not a fan of chocolate chip cookies, but Levain is definitely worth trying. I had their classic chocolate chip cookie with walnuts, it was very soft, made with real chocolate, and extremely sweet, so I couldn’t finish the whole thing. The place was pretty crowded, but the staff was very welcoming and did their best to make everyone feel taken care of

Levain has been on my NYC bucket list for the longest time, and we finally made it there… but after all the hype, I can’t say it lived up to our expectations. We had one at its peak outside of the store, but my husband I both looked at each other after we had a bite and wondered where the flavor was. It fell very flat for us unfortunately. It honestly was more like a scone than a cookie. We took the rest home and microwaved them to bring them back to life, but we’re just shocked at the lack of flavor. Adding flaky salt on top helps. I do want to give a shoutout to the team that was working Sunday night, because they moved through the line quickly and were organized with the orders. A one and done for us though.

Very popular bakery due to social media, so I had to check it out. They had a weekend only special of black and white chocolate chip cookie. I ordered it a la mode. The only ice cream flavor is vanilla.
Seating is limited, but there was a bench outside.
The staff was nice and the wait was not long at all.
