I got the spare ribs with lemon chicken and fried rice plate. The spare ribs were mainly just bones and sauce. There was more daikon than meat. The fried chicken pieces were ok-ish, but the lemon sauce didn’t taste right. The fried rice was ok. I also ordered 2 pork hash as well, and those were probably sitting there awhile because they were pretty dried out. Went there for lunch, but the food wasn’t even freshly made. If you’re gonna charge an arm and a leg for the food, at least make it enjoyable to eat. Some days the food is good and some days the food isn’t all that great… what made me even more upset were the won ton. I got an order of 12. More wonton wrapper and a little tiny piece of meat. This is something I could’ve easily made at home myself….I know back in the day this place was awesome. Now, just like some other places in Hilo, it sucks

The food is amazing. So is the service but the building has seen better days. Don’t let building fool you. Definitely worth a stop and try the food.

A great local restaurant. I hadn’t been there in a very long time but it’s very nice that it remains the same. The best of the local places don’t change because they’re great, just like this place. Friendly staff and they are very fast.

Food Quality has been declining the past ten years. Previous chefs must have retired.

We ordered a lunch plate with three topping options for $13. Took it to a park down the street and enjoyed a nice picnic.

One of the long time best Chinese joints in hilo for a quick bite that’s quality. Their char siu is my favorite compared pretty much most of the lunch type Chinese places. They have a nice buffet type set up where you can choose what you want. Pay by the choice. Great place !

My favorite Chinese food in Hilo! Customer service isn’t always great but the food is by far worth it. Really good price too.
