I pointed to the char siu pork and said I’ll take the rest it was closing time. She charged me 70 dollars and gave me the sweet and sour pork that was sitting all day and wouldn’t sell. I only realized after I went home. I will never go there again. The sweet and sour was mostly batter and had radishes in it. She probably wanted to feed her family with with pure roast pork.

Wayyyyyyy better than lings. Let me say this first…. Lings should be your absolute last chinese place to go to, Leungs however is just as good as Chengs, i would say, but it can be pricy, especially ala carte. But the quality is great! Service was awesome! Was greeted and told farewells.. i would recommend!

Greasy food, grouchy owners and rude immigrant workers! All the Chinese places in Hilo are related, and they act like they’re better than locals!—except Ocean Side Chinese restaurant in Keaukaha ; check em’ out

We ordered a lunch plate with three topping options for $13. Took it to a park down the street and enjoyed a nice picnic.

Since our choices are few as for decent Chinese food, Leung’s is probably the best in cantonese. I ordered the Leung’s special cake noodle. The flavor was good and balanced. The texture good. I was surprised however when every other bite there were small sharp bones! Upon realising this I chewed carefully so they wouldn’t get jammed between my teeth or swallow one and spit the bones out. This is why a 3 star rating. No warning either… Like “be careful of small bones. ” Anyhow… the price was also high for what I got. I ordered off the menu. This wont keep me from going back as the flavors are good and more of a 4 star. Next time I will order off the bar. You get more for your money . Please take the small bones out of your sauce or warn people.

One of the long time best Chinese joints in hilo for a quick bite that’s quality. Their char siu is my favorite compared pretty much most of the lunch type Chinese places. They have a nice buffet type set up where you can choose what you want. Pay by the choice. Great place !
