Bland.. the crisp was there but the season was not at all. This was my first time trying them and it’s a no for me. I didn’t know they weren’t black owned before I went though. I should’ve done better research. It’s other places in South Dallas that have a lower rating, but I’m sure it was just because of the customer service because the food is actually good. I’ll deal with bad customer service from “US” as long as the food is good ♀️

Just moved to sunny South Dallas and stumbled on this hidden gem—blink and you’ll miss it, but you shouldn’t. This is the fish fry spot! The fish and shrimp are perfectly seasoned, moist, and the batter? Super crisp with great texture. Fries and hush puppies hit the mark too. Bonus points for clean oil—you can tell by the light golden color of the fish and shrimp. Highly, highly recommend!

Went for lunch, drive through had about 3 cars ahead of me. Each car waited about 10-12 minutes for their food once they got to the window. My food was hot and freshly made when I got it but the wait is something else. I would only go again if I have a lot of time. Food was just mid, nothing was too good.

Honestly, this food has little to no flavor. It definitely doesn’t have the best taste. But this place is one of my go to places. It’s a S. Dallas standard.
What keeps me going back:
-the food is ALWAYS hot and fresh – I mean EVERY SINGLE TIME
-the service is standard-no muss, no fuss, no trouble-you have to wait for your order, but it’s not a crazy wait time-the ppl are nice-cash only
-the oysters and shrimp are perfectly fried-I just have to get them home and jazz up the flavor a bit
-THE HUSH PUPPIES – just get the hush puppies already-you’ll be glad you did

Amazing well cooked food in the heart of the hood. Keep your windows up and your doors locked. Ignoring the crack heads while you wait is well worth the delivery. The fish is fried hard and the shrimp are fresh and sweet. The fries are good and the hush puppies are delicious. I just won my case at court and this meal set it off.
