I had a great time at Let’s Eat, Soul Food Restaurant. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and full of life. The murals on the walls really stood out, they added so much character and gave the place a vibrant, soulful vibe that made the experience even more enjoyable.
The service was just as good as the atmosphere. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home throughout the meal. It’s always nice when the staff genuinely seem to enjoy what they do.
To top it all off, the prices were just right for the quality and portion sizes. Great food, a lively environment, and warm service—definitely a spot I’d recommend if you’re looking for good soul food and a great vibe.

Good evening to my folks in Compton! First and foremost, the staff her is amazing! Very friendly, thorough and welcoming. The atmosphere and vibes is like you’re eating at a family members or friend’s house. The chef even came out to thank us and ask how we were doing, which was nice and made us feel even more welcomed.
Please keep in mind, this is a local business that JUST opened not too long ago, please be patient when being seated and waiting on your food. The staff is far from lazy and I really feel like they’re working their best to give their guests the best experience possible. My party of 5 was seated within about 10mins or so. Food took a bit to come out but everything was hot and fresh.
It was about $230 without tip, and after tip we spent about $280 or so. To me, it was 100% worth it and I will be back again with my people. Half the items on the menu were sold out unfortunately, but I will be back earlier in the day to try the other food items. My favorite side was the red beans and rice, some of the best I’ve ever had! The yams were amazing as well. Some of the best shrimp n grits I’ve tried. And the seafood gumbo has so much damn flavor! If you’re a lobster lover, I highly recommend trying the lobster tail, very large and tasty! If you have a sweet tooth, the sweet potato pie is a must!! One of the best slices of pie I’ve ever had!!

I arrived at 12:30 sat in the lounge waiting on service and mind there was no one there but me and my friend and 2 other ladies finally sat down ordered the food food came and the order wasn’t complete pricing is way to pricey for the portions and I gotta say I wasn’t impressed food was a miss terrible i will not be returning needles to say

Let’s represent our black community no matter what others say I enjoyed my oxtails and the staff was great and yes the chef came out to check on us which was a great way of showing his appreciation we were there. I suggest you go and try the spot yourself.

Great atmosphere. Very elegant. Definitely get the mocktails! The presentation is IG worthy and they taste even better! I had the oxtails, they fell off the bone and the truffle mashed potatoes are a star performer. I’ll be back!

Loved my experience at Let’s Eat Soul Food in Compton. The ox tails were delicious with the meat coming right off the bone. Would highly recommend giving them a visit if you are in the area. Will definitely be coming back.
