Great little lunch place near the hospital. We finished up and we’re looking for a place to grab a quick bite and saw this right down the street so we stopped in. Great food just like Mom would make plenty of options and reasonably priced huge parking lot.

Let’s Do Lunch is truly a local Decatur gem! The chicken salad is phenomenal—our go-to every time. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The desserts are always delightful, often with an exciting twist that makes each visit feel special. The restaurant is very clean, the staff is friendly and upbeat, and the service is always top-notch.

What really sets this place apart is the owner, Debra. She clearly pours her heart into this business, and it shows in every detail—from the quality of the food to the warm, welcoming atmosphere. We couldn’t recommend Let’s Do Lunch more!

The food is decent but the person at the register is rude. She wasn’t friendly at all as we were ordering. We sat outside to eat and as we were leaving, they were locking the doors and someone from our group asked to use the restroom. She told them no and we were appalled. She wasn’t even leaving yet, so 2 min of her time and a little common courtesy would have been nice. I won’t be back again. The owner (or who I assume owns it) was very friendly as she was leaving. So this is strictly a reflection of the person at the register.

Wonderful food and service always! The hummingbird cake is my favorite! The fruit tea is amazing. My daughters beg me to take them there all the time.

WOW! Ate here for the first time and it was pleasant surprise to get friendly people, fast service, good eats, and fair pricing. Located in a very plain nondescript building this restaurant knocks the pants off any other deli in the area. The bathrooms were immaculate as well as the entire establishment. You enter, order, pay, sit down and your food is brought out to you. Simple yet elegant. Strongly suggest you try it out. I’ll be back for sure.

If you’re looking for lunch like Grandma used to make, here you go! “Scoops” of salads (egg, tuna, chicken, pimento cheese) can be served as-is or in a sandwich. Nothing fancy: no bed of lettuce or sliced tomatoes… just what you ordered, and it’s tasty and fresh. The strawberry pretzel “salad” (sorry, it’s a dessert, ladies!) is delicious and I noticed it as a side on the plates of many of my fellow diners. It’s a simple place with Christian decor and music. If you’re looking for a “clean, well-lighted place”, here you go.

The chicken salad was good but I got pretzel strawberry salad as a side and it was way too sweet! Should had ordered the broccoli salad.

Love the food. It is a bit pricey. Maybe they should consider deals that include a drink or dessert. The dining area is too small. My rating is based on food quality and quantity. Try the grape salad. It is delicious. Their desserts are awesome, especially the chocolate fudge brownie with marshmallow center. I recommend Let’s Do Lunch!!

This place feels like a nice mom and pop shop, which it is. Everyone has such great energy and is a joy to be around. The food is also amazing, as well as the dessert. Love coming here, and can’t wait to be back
