We got the rock shrimp and artichokes for our appetizers; I got the steak and enchilada with a side of zucchini for my entree, my husband got the Ruben with an added side of coleslaw. Everything came out fresh, hot, and delicious.

Driven by here so many times. Finally decided to take the plunge.
When entering the place, you get a whiff of that sweet, sweet smoked wood smell. Love anyplace that still cooks with real wood.
The staff were all really friendly. Our server was on it. He was funny, helpful and knowledgeable.
When I first read the menu it didn’t knock my socks off, but the food is well prepared and honestly very good. The loaded Mac and cheese was a treat. They actually cook the French dip meat to your liking!
The vibe is chill. Like an elegant mom and pop place. Will return. Oh! And the have a patio when it’s cooler outside and a brunch!
Just returned tonight. Still good food. More people need to go to this place!!

Super cute family-owned business! We ordered the brisket tacos and reuben sandwich with brussels. Everything tasted just ok. The brussels are covered in some sort of sauce which I could have done without and the tacos were tiny. There was only one person working the entire restaurant and she was the best part of our experience! She was very kind, attentive and delivered very fast service!! The prices are way too high for the quality and portion sizes of food. I’m ok not returning.

My husband and I stopped in for a late afternoon lunch and absolutely loved everything about our experience. I began with an aperol spritz which I thought was better than ones I had when I visited Italy. Then we ordered the fried oysters and artichokes for appetizers, and they were both incredibly tasty. For the entrees, my husband had the Reuben, and I had the veggie burger, and we both were very satisfied. The service was top notch, as well. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fine dining experience.

First time at LeTara, service was excellent, French Dip is in the top 3 I’ve had and I really enjoyed the skin on hand cut fries. Wife had the fish tacos which was as a build your own plate style with a large portion of grilled fish, coleslaw rice and beans. We started with the Nachos and ended with a Carmel Maccaito coffee to go, both very good. Yes the place is a little pricey for a small town restaurant but sitting on the bay in any major costal town this quality restaurant would be what it is, a little gem. We will be back for a steak or sea food evening meal very soon.

Without a doubt I would recommend LeTara grill. Service was amazing, food was way better than any expectations. Came in for brunch and let me tell you the briskethash was delicious. We also had crab cake Benedict and will definitely come back for them again.

Came in for dinner. Had been here several times for lunch and always enjoyed the food service and atmosphere. This visit was over the top excellent. Service was exceptional, and the food was spectacular!! Had the cedar plank salmon, cooked to perfection, and the house salad and rice with black beans. Very surprised that more people are not here. Hidden gem. Highly recommend!

We needed to celebrate Father’s Day on Thursday instead of Sunday, and while I’ve been wanting to try LeTara, I was a bit leary after reading so many mixed reviews. But the restaurant intrigued me, so I decided what the heck! The service was a bit slow, but on our side of the restaurant the bartender Luis seemed to be the only server for about eight groups. But he remained very friendly and professional.
Our family of five had no complaints about the food! We started with the steak nachos, cornbread and calamari. All were tasty and large enough for two people. We then had the grilled salmon with asparagus and coleslaw, the boneless ribeye and salad, the hickory burger and two enchilada and steak entrees. Large portions and everything was cooked to perfection. The ribeye and salmon were flawless! The ribeye was perfectly marbled, tasty and very tender. Dessert included oreo topped bread pudding, keylime pie and trés léches.
Wow! We were so stuffed we could hardly move! We will definitely be back!
Some previous reviewers complained about the pricing. Since covid most restaurant prices have gone up. We dine out somewhat frequently and we did not find LeTara’s pricing any higher than the chain restaurants who have bulk buying advantages. We will definitely be back!

Wanted to love this place but the only thing decent here was the brisket nachos which were just “ok” the burgers come with zero seasonings on the meat and cold shredded cheese. The fries are dripping in grease. The chipotle pasta was thick and lumpy with rubbery reheated tasting chicken, that I was charged an extra $7 for. Portions are way too small for the prices. Although the service was good, we won’t be back.
