Natifs alsaciens, notre philosophie est de promouvoir les produits locaux à travers les nombreuses fermes des environs, en privilégiant l’agriculture biologique et/ou raisonnée, et bien sûr notre jardin quand la saison le permet ! I recently dined at this restaurant and had a genuinely lovely experience from start to finish. The ambience is one of its strongest features—warm lighting, tasteful décor, and a relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to settle in and enjoy your time. We were really lucky to come upon this restaurant totally randomly, and it seems we were even luckier that they had a free table. We had no idea how good the food and how kind the people would be – it was really nice to have the opportunity to taste some of the local products here because there are so many great farms in the area! They do amazing things with these local products and I don’t think you could go wrong with anything on their menu. They also had vegetarian options – it seems like there’s something for everyone because the menu is very well thought out. we would love to come back sometime maybe in a different season when we can try yet another great menu !! Stellar experience! Don’t expect to eat heavy, paysan dishes here like fondue and choucroute! This is Vosges-meets-French-cuisine with local ingredients at its best! And for an affordable price too! We absolutely loved every dish we ordered, can’t even name my favorite one; everything was absolutely perfect from the staff’s friendliness to the apéritif’s originality, the food itself and the mise en place. If I could, I would give l’Étable 10 stars 🙂
