I loved everything about this place! Happy hour (3-6) was amazing. Our server was observant enough to pay attention to my bday when checking my ID and brought a complementary dessert that I enjoyed thoroughly. The live music was fantastic. The service and the environment were altogether pleasing. I’m so glad we stopped here.

Great food, drinks, and staff! All safety protocols were followed. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Our food was delicious and super fresh – best lobster roll I’ve ever had!! Happy hour drinks are reasonably priced and tasted good as well. Can’t wait to visit Cali again and try some more of their food options! Would definitely recommend!

This place has got some amazing food! And their menu alternates so you get to experience some different items! They offer outdoor patio seating! They have a full bar: (pictured — Bloody Mary and Leroy’s “house” sangria) soooo amazing. Great cocktail menu. Nice selection of wine!
Definitely a must stop when you are on Coronado!
On their patio, they have separated eat table for safety, but it also allows for private dining

We’re normally steak people, but torn between steak and our choice of fish, at the recommendation of the professional and friendly waitress, we had halibut and salmon. I’ve added photos, which are under weird lighting only because we chose to eat outside at night on the darker side of the restaurant (one side gets more lighting from inside through the windows). Food was awesome. One of the hosts was a little aloof, but the actual server was great.
I had an Irish mule to drink and the server asked if I wanted it with Red Breast (one of my favorite whiskey choices) and offering a choice of whiskey for an Irish mule is rare, if they even offer an Irish mule at all since they’re never on the menu. The point is, I ordered an off drink and our waitress offered an upgraded choice for that not-on-the-menu drink.
Even if the food was just okay, the waitress would have been enough for me to give it 4 stars, but the food was pretty good too. Worth stopping here if you’re visiting Coronado.

Stopped by for a quick bite before the show. We expressed the time constraint and our server was super quick to react. The food was on the table in less than 10 minutes. It was delicious. Not to mention that all the veggies and other products come from local farmers. Will definitely come again. They also have live music on Wednesday and Thursday nights. A true gem in this area

One of the best kitchen lounges I have been to in Coronado. High quality food in a very nice area of Coronado. Parking can be a hassle but it’s definitely worth it. I went on a Sunday for the brunch as a walk in and I was told the wait would be 25 minutes. They text you so that you are able to go walk around downtown Coronado and look at the historical buildings. However, we were seated within 10-15 minutes. The customer service was excellent and kid friendly. I sat outdoors and the view is amazing.

Until I visit Jo-Jo Ruiz’s new fine dining restaurant at the Hotel Del Coronado later this summer, Leroy’s is Coronado’s best restaurant, which is not saying much on an island void of competence in restaurant kitchens. Coronado is a great place to spend a day at the beach, but generally wretched for food.
My wife and I dined here recently, beginning our meal with the “Mother Board,” a cutting board spread of a cured meats (Bresaola, Duck Pâté, Salami) and cheeses (Camembert, Bucheron, Drunken Goat) with some familiar fixins’ mixed in with some not-so-familiar. They had pickled celery – which I wouldn’t think to pickle, but it was pretty good, and superbly complemented the slices of meat, the silky-smooth pâté, and the sharp mustards.
The “Ahi Poke Tuna Tacos” were much enjoyed by my wife and me. The texture of the ahi is stunning and delicate, its tender, raw chunks will melt in your mouth. The Asian slaw is sweet, but not overly so, and the wonton “taco shell” is crispy but light, the combination of all of this coming across as decadent, but not heavy. Evaluating it strictly as a taco, it may not have conventional taco ingredients, but it is a very well-composed bite of food, balancing the fish, sauce, cabbage, and shell like a legit taquero would.
My entrée was the “Greater Omaha Prime Flat Iron,” a half-pound steak that was cooked to a luscious medium-rare as I requested, its edges and surfaces blasted with heat so its seasonings and fat mix with charred outer-proteins to form a marvelous crust. A creamy parsnip purée, savory slices of grilled trumpet mushrooms, and crisp asparagus in herb butter complete a delectable steak dish that didn’t break the bank, at just $34 all-in.
At Leroy’s, the service is excellent. My waiter during my recent visit, Phil W., was as knowledgeable and personable as a waiter can be at a restaurant that does not sell multi-course tastings. He’s my “server of the year” for 2019 so far. Phil provided excellent recommendations and suggestions to my wife and I based on what we told him we liked, and demonstrated he knew both the dinner and cocktail menus inside and out. He could work at a place like recently Michelin-starred Addison and fit in just fine. Not that I’m suggesting that, since I’d love to have another meal with him at Leroy’s prices.

Nice lunch restaurant with a nice selection of beers locally brewed on the menu, regularly changing. Happy hour daily from 3-6 pm.
Ingredients locally sourced, sustainable grown and fresh.
The chicken salad sandwich with late spring union soup I ordered was delicious.
What we really liked was that the kids don’t get plastic straws but ones made from hay, to avoid ocean pollution

Did a little food and drink crawl thru Coronado and couldn’t turn down the happy hour specials. So glad we didn’t pass this place by. We weren’t necessarily hungry but needed to order a food item with the covid restrictions and it was a wonderful inconvenience as the devilled eggs were amazing and beautifully presented! The cocktails were spot on and well made (only $8 on HH special !) and the wait staff was extremely welcoming and embraced the celebratory energy of our special day, especially Antonio the bartender. We promised to come back soon for brunch because this place place made a great first impression.

Routine Google search for a local eatery found us: Leroy’s Kitchen! Awesome find on a Friday early lunch hunt. The restaurant had outside and inside tables, we opted for inside. Being Hungry and in the spirit of something new. We asked Heather a few questions and worked out our options. I’m saving their location for a return visit August 2020! Recommended with enthusiasm!
