This is a great place for a fresh cup of coffee and to chill with friends. The nicely decorated interior and plenty of patio space make it a perfect spot. Definitely recommend!

What an outstanding bakery. I stopped in here on a Wednesday morning around 8:30 AM and am so impressed. We got a chocolate croissant, butter croissant, pumpkin croissant, drip coffee, an egg, and the hash browns. Everything was fantastic!!! Coffee had a great flavor! The ladies behind the front counter were very polite and welcoming. These were truly the best croissants I’ve ever had. Beware… it’s SO flaky that you’ll want to make sure you eat over a plate (in the best way) and order more than just one. I will definitely be returning to LeRouge bakery!!!!

We visited this bakery recently and usually love it — great food and coffee. However, on this visit we were asked to take our very well-mannered dog outside, even though she was quietly sitting in line and has been inside before, and we’ve seen other dogs in there as well (we were just getting coffee). At the same time, a screaming child was not addressed at all. The inconsistency was disappointing. A more clearly defined and consistently enforced pet policy would be appreciated.

LeROUGE is a French Parisian oasis in the middle of grosse pointe Michigan. Beautiful aesthetics with old world charm laced with modern tastes. It’s lovely place to hang out over coffee and gluten goodies 🙂

Very cute Parisian style cafe, you could have a nice lunch meeting here. We had a croque monsieur, a salad, and a hangover egg. Everything was rich and very well seasoned. The sandwiches were creamy and decadent with the warm cheese and egg melting in the bread. The only issue I had, was the pork belly style bacon, which had not been rendered or butchered to not need rendering, so that I had a tough strip of fat I had to pick out. That didn’t ruin the sandwich, but I’d rather not have that.

Everything I’ve tried at this bakery has been incredible – from the lattes, fun croissant flavors, to the loaves of bread. It’s become a must-stop for my work travels to the Detroit area.
*if they have a pumpkin croissant, you MUST get one. Literal pumpkin pie in the middle, it’s life-changing

What a great French Bakery and cafe in Grosse Ponte Park! It’s on the N. Side of Kercheval right near Red Crown for those of you that know. The breads are outstanding! The croissants are so flaky you swear you are in Paris! Coffees are exceptional! Not to be missed! Come over and over like me! Update: the pastrami spiced bacon BLT is the best BLT in the world! Fresh artisanal tomatoes and lettuce! To absolutely die for

Lovely breakfast place, the croissants are so fluffy and buttery. The hangover egg sandwich is yummy and flavorful. It is on the expensive side, $11 for a small sandwhich. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options.
