This place is amazing. Really great comfort food. You don’t really interact much with the staff but what little time you do they are very kind and considerate. The food is literally southern grandma. It’s childhood memories. Very filling and comforting.

Seriously, don’t pass this place up. Drive out of your way we did. We were not disappointed. It’s kinda a buffet or self-serve restaurant. Very friendly people nice atmosphere. But, let me get to the food. After all, that’s why we eat out. We had to 2 meat meals, and we chose chicken fried steak, beef tips and gravy over mashed potatoes, fried okra, green beans, roll, and banana pudding, all included for 17$. We also had a slice of pecan pie that was extra. The sweet tea was great, which surprisingly isn’t good at most restaurants. I don’t want to oversell how good it was, but holymolly is was good. The beef tips best I ever had, including my mom’s ( sorry mom), the chicken fried steak was really steak tenderized and battered by hand in a thick but not to thick batter nicely seasoned. It was easily cut with a knife and not a big plate of batter left. Everything was hot and delicious. The banana pudding was really good, but the owner gave me a free bread pudding because I told him I’m a bread pudding girl. It’s not a cake type bread pudding but was fantastic. It was like a crem, Brule taste. I will go back again for sure. If I lived close, I’d eat at least twice a week.

Definitely the best home cooking in all of Mont Belvieu! Every meal is full of flavor and deliciousness!! The chicken fried chicken was tender and juicy. The baked chicken fell off the bone. Tough choice for round three, but it’ll probably be the meat loaf!! All the sides are on point and make sure you grab a dessert!

The food was just ok; but for the price paid it should have been better. After the fact I found out paying with a debit or credit card increases your bill. A $12.99 plate of food will cost you $14.63. Service was good but it just wasn’t worth the money paid. Quantity over quality.

This place is a hidden gym for sure. The country cooking is amazing. I have tried the chicken spaghetti and the meatloaf, and both were great! The menu goes on and on. I will be returning soon to try the chicken fried chicken or steak. Oh, not to mention the sides. My mouth is watering now, so if you’re in the area, I suggest you stop.

So on the board for lunch it has a price, I think 12.99 for lunch. I got the exact items and they charge me double for food that was mediocre. A lady was nice though and got me a straw.

Lercy’s! Get ready for some great home cooking served from a steam table. Walk in, get in line and you’ll be seated with your food in a few minutes. They also serve burgers, salads and sandwiches that can be custom ordered. The food is always hot and fresh and the atmosphere is mostly communal dining which is fun. There are a few small tables if you prefer but sitting next to and making new friends is great! They are open for lunch Monday through Friday until 2pm and dinner on Thursday and Friday only from 4-8pm. The steam table serves an entree and 2-3 sides with choice of bread and a dessert! for 12.99. Most selections change daily but they have chicken fried steak and baked chicken EVERY day. The vegetables are like grandma made and I highly recommend Lercy’s for a great meal.
