My husband and I were visiting the area from out of town and happened to find Leo’s through a Google search. We are so happy we did!!! Hands down the best street tacos we’ve ever had. (And believe me, I’ve had a lot of street tacos!) The tacos come plain and you can top them however you like at a station that has onions, limes, cilantro, peppers, and a variety of salsas. If you order the tacos with cheese, they toast the cheese so it’s golden brown and crispy right on the tortilla. Yum!
Leo’s is family-owned, and we had the pleasure of speaking to the owner. He was super friendly and accommodating. He knew it was our first time there, so he made sure to personally check in with us to make sure we enjoyed our food.
We will absolutely be back to Leo’s the next time we are in town!

I got a new spot for all y’all!!! So here it goes. This place kept popping up as a place that I needed to try. So I was in the area and popped in, needless to say that I have been a few more additional times. The place is clean, festive, and has good medicine playing in the background. Now on to the food. I tried the lunch California burrito, birria taco with carne asada. I think they smoke it grill the meat as I can taste it coming thru with every bite and it is very tasty. Burrito was good but the birria taco was on another level. Just fantastic. They have a mild sauce and a hot sauce. The hot is hot for real. That birria taco is in my top three in Arizona, very flavorful, well balanced, and seasoned just right. The burrito is no slouch either but birria tacos is where it is at. I have the birria ramen and it is great as well. Try Leos tacos out and you will be a believer too. Enjoy!!!

This is like the 5th time we come here and have yet to be disappointed. Walking in the space is not so big but it’s nice vibes. The person at the register, is always nice. We’ve had diff people help us and it’s always the same thing, very kind and sweet and very helpful. Me and my boyfriend always get the birria ramen with the tacos and it’s never fails. The consome (broth) is so good in the birria ramen, instantly makes me feel better. The tacos have a good amount of meat in them and when dipped into the consome taste so delicious. One thing I love most about this place is that everything comes plain. They don’t add anything on them (I hate onions so I’m glad) they have a side bar where you can add what you like to your liking. If only they would add a birria grilled cheese to their menu hahaha 10/10 go eat. It’s amazing.

We were visiting from Yuma and my husband had seen a TikTok of them promoting their birria posole a few days prior and wanted to try it! Their customer service is top notch and the food was great!! The birria posole was delicious and a perfect combination!! The quesabirria tacos were legit and very good! The chips are delicious with their different salsas but also a perfect pairing for the birria posole!! The aguas frescas were very tasty and refreshing! And let me tell you, their Chiles toreados y cebollas were AMAZING!! We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner Ruben who was so gracious and kind!! We definitely recommend this place and we will be returning soon!!

Update: 11/30/24. Went to the new location today up at 83rd Ave and Bell. It’s located across from the Harkins. Great atmosphere, and location. Food was on point as always. Will be back.

Simple menu with delicious menu items. My first time here I was convinced by the welcoming staff to try the birria. I was blown away by what may have been the best birria I’ve ever had. The birria ramen while neither a taco or burrito is amazing. Be prepared to spend north of $15 for three tacos and a drink.

In town for a business trip and was looking for a quick spot to grab lunch. I saw all the great reviews and decided to go with the birria ramen and added on a birria corn taco. The ramen hit the spot and was great portion sizing. The broth was so flavorful and the meat portion sizing was perfect! They even gave me double the condiments on the side which was awesome! Most places I get takeout from either forget items or barely give enough! This was definitely a treat, and I’ll be back next time!
