It’s a small place but lacks no atmosphere. Vintage decor from top to bottom.
The nicest group of people I have ever experienced in service. Not just one person every one was outgoing even the customers treated us like old friends.
The ribs were delicious and meaty. I enjoyed the bologna.
To me the beans had a little heat to them ~ very tasty. The homemade desserts are exceptional.
The cost is adequate.
Loved it ~ everything about it.
Leon’s Smoke Shack is the kind of BBQ spot that makes you want to come back again and again. The brisket and ribs were absolutely outstanding—tender, smoky, and full of flavor that speaks to true craft barbecue.
The service was just as impressive. The staff was very quick, friendly, and accommodating, even during a busy lunch hour, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.
And don’t skip dessert—their buttermilk pie is a perfect sweet finish, rich and comforting in all the right ways.
Between the incredible food, welcoming atmosphere, and genuine hospitality, Leon’s Smoke Shack is a Tulsa gem that’s well worth the stop.
When I think of good BBQ, this place is what I have in mind. The ribs were delicious & tender & the chicken was very juicy & tender… the meat fell off the bone. The beans were just spicy enough, but I added a little of their hot bbq sauce to give it a zing. It’s served with pickles, onions & 2 slices of bread. The coldslaw was a good classic creamy, sweet coleslaw. Others I went with tried the baloney, sausage, chopped pork & chopped beef & everyone loved it all.
There is not a ton of seating at the Sheridan location, so plan to get it to go.
I haven’t been to the other location on 3rd st (1529 E 3rd St) but I hear there is more seating & patio seating.
They had lots of yummy cakes to choose from. I personally didn’t try any this time but I sure wanted to. A family member got the carrot cake & said it was yummy. I would go back in a heartbeat. Our server was really terrific! Now I’m hungry for it all over again. ❤️
