Calling their “Italian salad” a salad is generous. What I got was a handful of limp lettuce and flavorless tomatoes — not a single olive in sight. The lasagna looked and tasted like something a 3-year-old might throw together: over-boiled pasta smothered in what tasted like Costco tomato sauce. The meatballs were real ground beef, sure, but serving them on top of lasagna? No Italian would ever do that.
For $32 (including a $3+ “tip” for someone handing me iced water packed with plastic straws), I honestly felt scammed. Coming from the Mediterranean culture where food is crafted with pride, it’s sad to see people here calling this low-quality, Americanized dish “Italian.” No real Italian chef would put their name on it.

Tastes like homemade Italian, fresh natural herbal sauce, fresh pasta, amazing bread! I had the beef ravioli with meatballs, these were a little small and crispy, but good. Salad was fresh, really good butter as well.

BRYAN helped navigate the menu even though it is short, but he filled in all the details. I chose sausage in home made red sauce and a fresh salad with a delicious house made tomato-based dressing for the salad. YUM. great brewed unsweet tea.

118 years this place has been in business. I found it by total chance while looking for a place relatively close to the airport. The hight rating talked me into taking my girl there for lunch. It’s a small place that feels like you are eating in someone’s house. Even the kitchen remains looking like what you would find in someone’s home.
We both had the lunch special with 2 meatballs. We aren’t used to spaghetti with marinara so it was a bit different than we were used to, but everything was still great. Even their salad was fresh.
This place is an hour away from us so I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back, but I’d consider stopping again of I was in the area.

First time here. Had a lunch special with meat ravioli and two meatballs. This restaurant has apparently been around for approximately 100 years and been in the same family. The inside is like going back in time. I loved it because it reminded me of a similar place in Emerson, NJ called Nola’s. The pastas are fresh made…..Yum! The sauce was a typical Italian oregano style and was good and tasty. The lunch special came with a fresh salad and homemade Italian dressing or oil and vinegar. Four pieces of fresh sliced Italian bread n butter were provided, also. It was very good bread, and all slices were used to sop up the excess dressing and tomato sauce. It was so good and filling. I’m certainly going to go back and try some other dishes.
There is plenty of parking right alongside or in the street.
If you’re traveling on Rt 64 you can exit at Exit 99 and go down the hill and turn right on Washington. EZ off and EZ on the highway.
They serve lunch and dinner. All reasonably priced.
1/11/2026: I’ve been here a couple of more times. I like the nice bowl of spaghetti and meatballs, along with the salal, and bread n butter basket lunch special. I think that you’ll enjoy this quaint local favorite. It’s become one.of mine.

Dinner was really good. They had meat ravioli which is not easy to find! Really enjoyed my meal. I gotta say though the tiramisu was UNBELIEVABLE. Omg so good.

Second time here both times I have come I hear whispers at the other tables. They all say the same thing l it’s delicious. I am not that big on spaghetti. The sauce is not too acidic not over bearing or too sweet either. The meatballs are firm but not tough. The service is speedy and friendly. This place has been around for over 100 years it certainly will not let you down.
