Absolutely LOVED this place! You can’t be there charm and great chats with Liz, the owner. Pierogis were to die for (I forgot to take a photo before devouring them) with the caramelized onions on them. The wine is fantastic, her taste is excellent and I love how she has great recommendations at the ready. Do yourself a favor and stop in. 🙂

Leonardo’s Wine Bar is hands down one of the inviting and charming spots you’ll find! The atmosphere is absolutely adorable—perfect for a relaxing night out or a fun (and maybe not-so-relaxing ) evening with friends. The owner is incredibly kind and always such a joy to interact with—she truly cares about her customers and goes out of her way to make every visit special and fun!
Not only is the wine selection fantastic, but the food is also delicious, and the events she hosts make this place even more special. Owego is so lucky to have such a wonderful small business, and if you’re ever in the area, this is a must-visit! ☺️

If you’re looking for somewhere to have drink and a light bite you will love Leonardo’s! It’s classy yet approachable with an amazing selection of wine and delicious food. We were wowed by the caprese and pesto gnocchi. A perfect place to stop for a drink before or after shopping or just to stop by as a destination of its own. Can’t recommend enough!

This place is adorable, super cozy, and has a great selection of wine. The prices are fair. The downside is, the service is TERRIBLE. The owner is too busy chatting with her friends then to serve customers in an amount of time anyone would consider reasonable. In summary; this is more of a setting for the owner to socialize than a business being operated with a goal of success. Great concept, great location, poor execution. They do not serve soda despite what the menu says and all food is microwaved

Found this charming and quaint establishment during my travels through upstate New York this spring. Although it’s freezing outside, the owner, Liz made my group feel so welcome. She warmed our hearts and souls with her cheerful, bubbly personality and was perfectly attentive. We felt like we were in a Hallmark movie, but it was even better because there was wine! I would highly recommend stopping by and experiencing Liz’s utopia.
