We went on a Saturday table of 6 at 6pm. The restaurant in terms of customers was extremely quiet throughout (we left after 8 pm) but the music was a bit loud. We asked for it to be turned down and it was, but sneaked back up The food quality was very good I had mussels and a pizza calzone, both excellent. The menu offers extra fillings for the pizza and I asked for olives. Pizza came no olives, to my astonishment I was told chef was not opening a new jar just for me, as if asking for them was unreasonable. Others had pizza, calamari, spinach pasta, burger. Shared a very nice puglian primativo red, they ran out of red label perronni. I thought it was a little expensive compared to others I. Hamilton. Apart the olives & peronni shortages, the service was good. I am not sure I’d go back.

My first visit. Called up to chance a table on a Saturday night on the way home from Glasgow and they were so accommodating. The freshly cooked food was absolutely delicious and the staff were friendly, polite & attentive. A brilliant find!

We visited in December and the place was so Christmasy. Lovely red and green decorations, a beautifully decorated tree plus a festive menu. What’s not to like. The food was more than scrumptious. Would definitely go again.

Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Despite the restaurant not being overly busy (around seven tables with four staff on the floor), the service was noticeably slow. We were seated by the window, and after asking twice for the heating to be turned on or adjusted, nothing was done. It was uncomfortable dining in coats, and I noticed other guests were doing the same. When the bill arrived, I was surprised at the cost, as the overall experience did not reflect value for money.

Last year we went to Di Gusti & it was something like faulty towers.

One of the oldest restaurants in Hamilton, been there as far as I can remember.
Went back after years. Same great service. Food takes a while but seems to be all freshly made. Everything was good, wife is a fussy eater when it comes to Italian and she loved it. Staff are friendly and restaurant has a great traditional vibe.
Would recommend as great Italian in Hamilton as an alternative to the standard big chains.

Nice cosy restaurant, especially during Christmas when it was extremely decorated. Food was excellent with large portions.
