I loved the level of service: approachable, welcome, attentive, and genuinely helpful with my ignorance about some food items.

I came here for breakfast first and later for lunch. I liked the design of the interior. For breakfast I enjoyed the coffee and my wife liked the breakfast tacos. The second time I came with my mom for lunch hoping to get late coffee but they only offer cold brew so me and my mom end up having cocktails instead. The bartender was nice. We ordered ceviche and fish tacos and I really liked it. Will definitely be back to try more menus.

Strongly recommend for a casual dining experience with fantastic food and service. We had one of the most friendliest waiters. We loved all of our dishes. Corn was outstanding. Drinks were super delicious.

Amazing mexican food! This feels like being in one of the top restaurants in Mexico! I had to order some extra tacos after the first because it was so good! Be careful with the level of spiciness of your salsa. The street corn should be a must!

Lenora’s in Portland Maine may be the best Mexican food you can get in the country. It’s up there with the finest of Mexico City cuisine. Amazing. Come here. Order the black bean tostada with the house chorizo. Then, order another one!

Lenora is a new taco bar in Portland, Maine that has quickly become a favorite among locals and tourists alike. The restaurant is located in the heart of the Old Port, and it offers a casual and fun atmosphere. The menu features a variety of tacos, burritos, and quesadillas, all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The tacos are the star of the show, and they come in a variety of flavors, including chicken, beef, pork, fish, and vegetarian. The burritos and quesadillas are also delicious, and they can be customized to your liking.

Went here for lunch and really enjoyed myself! The menu was not overwhelming with too many options, so it was easy to pick. Horchata was very authentic tasting, I was so pleased! Great atmosphere; I love the decor! Will be going back to taste more off the drink menu.

Atmosphere for lunch was peaceful and there were lots of open tables. Outdoor seating also available weather permitting. The service was good nothing to pick about. The food was almost there. If anything, 7 dollars a taco was a bit much, especially because the carnitas taco we ordered came out half the size as the fish tacos. Unsure if this was intended. The Oaxacan Hot Chicken torta was filling and very flavorful. Overall a nice dining experience.

Went there yesterday for a double date and had one black bean tostada ($7) and pineapple salsa ($5.50)— both were decent. The tostada had a nice presentation. The flavor was okay— I would have preferred more punchiness in one or two flavors to round out the dish. Maybe more herbaceous notes— a few sprigs of cilantro, parsley, or chive flowers on top— or a stronger feta or cotija crumble. As for the pineapple salsa, it was good — the chips needed to be more salty and less dense to really appreciate it. The place’s aesthetic had a “Wes Anderson meets Taco lounge” vibe which was fun and amusing. Overall, the prices were a bit high for the food but the venue is in downtown Portland so space cost is a factor to think about. I’d give it a 3.5.

Went a little overboard with what I ordered BUT it was all great, so it was worth it?
