Great portions. Loved the design and light wood beachy decor inside. Shrimp and grits were packed with flavor, shrimps not overcooked.
Blueberry wings were super messy but delicious. not overly sweet on syrupy. Good smoke flavor, still moist, and decent sized.
Big portions of the bigger breakfast platters.
Service was fast and nice, Lattes were okay, not the best espresso seemingly used.
Huge bonus for comping the garage parking. We would come back for brunch!

I have been waiting to return to Lenoir for years, and it did not disappoint! I booked our dinner at Lenoir to celebrate my sister’s bachelorette trip and our night was absolutely made by our server, Jay! Jay had us laughing the entire night and recommended fantastic dishes. Jay also serves as Lenoir’s pastry chef, and when I tell you the strawberry shortcake and chocolate cheesecake were some of the best desserts I’ve had in a long time. Shoutout to Jay for making our evening so special! We all can’t wait to return to Lenoir in the future.

Lenoir inside The Lindy Renaissance is a beautiful little hideaway – very “let’s have a work lunch and pretend we’re on vacation.” The room is stunning, the bar is gorgeous, and it’s a great spot for brunch or lunch with a group.
Price-wise? Rough. I was fortunate to be here on a work trip because the menu is firmly in “When in Rome” territory. I can’t honestly say the food justifies the cost.
I ordered the blueberry BBQ wings with cheese grits + cracklings. Very Southern, fun on paper, but the wings were on the fleshy/underbaked side and needed more time in the oven to really sing.
If you’ve got the budget and want a pretty, tucked-away spot to catch up with friends or coworkers, it’s worth a visit. If you’re watching your wallet, there are better value options in Charleston.

Excellent meal, excellent service! Savannah the bartender was the star! We popped in early (3pm) to inquire about reservations and the bar was already open. We sat and had a drink while she prepped for the coming evening service. She was friendly, efficient, and engaging – getting her work done, taking care of her customers, and visiting with us all at the same time! We were able to get a table at 5p, when dinner service began. Our server, Jay, was equally impressive! He was funny, friendly, knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered scallops and bone-in strip – both cooked to perfection. And the accompaniments were perfectly paired. Jay gave us a great recommendation to find carrot cake for dessert.

The food was different. Nothing was especially good except the donuts. They were great. It was like a commuter spot. People kept walking through the restaurant. It makes wonder what is so great over there. The bathroom was really nice but it is the hotel next door.

Wonderful brunch experience. The shrimp & grits were the best I have tasted in Charleston (and I have sampled this traditional dish in 8 restaurants over the past 6 weeks). I don’t like hyperbole, but these shrimp & grits were a flamenco dance in my mouth — bold and complementary flavors with just the right amount of heat. Their whiskey cocktails were also quite nice. Taylor took excellent care of my family. We will be back!

We were in Charleston for one evening from Cleveland & wanted to have a great dinner to celebrate my husband’s Birthday – Lenoir far exceeded our expectations! Charming, warm atmosphere with a modern whimsical decor. We researched the menu beforehand & greatly appreciated our server, Brittany’s recommendations – perfect picks starting with signature cocktails, meal included deviled eggs, crispy greens, seafood chowder & our absolute favorite, tomato pie. One of the best things I’ve eaten & bought cookbook so I can make at home. Finished off evening with lovely slice of carrot cake. A huge thank you to Brittany & the entire staff for exceptional service and making our evening special.

Taylor, our friendly barkeep, always greeted us at the end of the day with a smile and some banter as she made our nightcap drinks. The vibe was mixed during our week stay at the Lindy Hotel as conferences came and went. In general, it was quiet and relaxed.
We did enjoy the tomato pie on our last night and it was definitely worth it. Flavorful and cheesy. Nice plate to share before heading up. Watched other dishes come out of the kitchen and all looked and smelled fantastic!

Food was excellent the roasted chicken with brussel sprouts was amazing. My wife had the NY strip which was huge and ran about $75. Apps were really spot on, the deviled eggs and the chicken wings in particular. Service was stretched thin so not as attentive as you’d expect when you’re dropping 50-75 per plate plus drinks. The place it’s is cute but loud and almost impossible to carry on a conversation
