I have been coming down the shore to Lavallette NJ my whole life since I was a little kid. Lenny’s has always been my families favorite spot/pizza in the area. Brought my husband here to try the food and we loved our meal. Pizza delicious/crisp, apps great, & chicken parm amazing! Lenny’s never disappoints!

Ordered the thin crust pizza which came out extremely greasy to where I had to sop up the grease with napkins and there was so much absorbed it was very unappealing. I can only imagine if I ordered it w pepperoni or a topping like peppers n onions how floppy and greasy it would be. I was told by someone this is due to very cheap grated cheese instead of sliced mozzarella. Now our server was outstanding which is why I rated an extra star. We will try this place again in the near future and give it another try (maybe an off nite) and I will provide an update to see if the thin crust was better.

Lenny’s would get 6⭐’s if I was an option. We get Lenny’s twice when we’re in Lavalette for our yearly vacation. Such a solid pie, I always ask for well done and it’s perfect, the Nonna Rosalina Sicilian is just amazing(pictured). Best in the area hand down.

A great neighborhood gem. We had a reservation for 7 people and were seated promptly. The service was friendly. Everyone’s food was great. The mussels marinara and garlic knots were great starters. The marinara sauce was so good we ate it with a spoon. The flounder piccata was great with a flavorful white wine sauce.
We saw others ordering pizza, and we’ll definitely be back to give it a try.

Visited Lennys on a Friday which meant there were a lot of pizza takeout orders and it would’ve taken an hour to get a pizza. Waitress was relatively attentive and accommodating. The entrees were delicious and well-sized.

I have been here a few times with friends for dinner in the summer. I tagged along with my parents for their anniversary dinner here the other night. The staff is consistently happy, attentive, and goes the extra mile. I have had many meals from here, but opted for the chicken parmigiana tonight. What a hit! They also have one of the most delicious sautéed spinach. Keep in mind it is a bring your own. Fantastic.

Good pizza, nothing above average though. Had their Hawaiian personal pizza and thought the crust was nice and thick. Usually Hawaiian is ham and pineapple but they used bacon instead and thought to give it a shot, and it definitely was not for me. Nothing wrong with it though.
Edit: Visited here in 2020 (was here 2018), and maybe due to covid they got slower. We tried the Hawaiian, and Fresca pizza for pickup and they both were delicious and timely for pickup. Then, we had an order for 6 people another day and had to wait about an hour to get our food, of which none was pizza actually. The crispy chicken sub was lacking in flavor and quantity, for the $12 price point it sure was disappointing. Buffalo wings were average, calamari is way too salty. Definitely ONLY come here for pizza, and nothing else.
