Very nice a clean restaurant inside. Visited for breakfast and had a window seat. Perfect sunny November day. Beautiful sunny delight breakfast….not to familiar with some Spanish food so I didn’t try the chocolate stuff, cheese. The chicken was cooked well and not to thick. Great plantains ( could eat 4 more) Beautiful eggs. Great customer service.

My wife was in the mood for some chicken soup. We were in the area and found this place on Google. My wife liked the soup. She said it was good but not used to some of the ingredients I the soup. She is not used to having cabbage in chicken soup. But she said it was good didn’t like the smell of the soup. I paid $18.50 little expensive for chicken soup.

I came in Friday and had such a wonderful experience. The food was fantastic and the service was top notch. I was treated like I was family when that was the first time I had ever been. My eyes were much bigger than my stomach, so I had to take a good bit home which made for a fantastic lunch the following day.
I spoke a lot with Francisco. We had such a wonderful conversation about our community and when I got in my car I cried. His conversation moved me. Our community needs our support right now and we need to come together in this time of need. I told him I will be back with all of my friends. He and my server were fantastic. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!

The interior of this restaurant is very nice looking, making the atmosphere pleasant. The service was good. I ordered chicken fajitas. The dish came with a salad, a slice of avocado, pickled onions, rice, and refried beans. Beautiful presentation of the food. I thoroughly enjoyed this dish in its entirety. There was an ample amount of food. I took The leftovers home for a second meal.

Lempira is one of Charlotte’s gems. The food is absolutely delicious, every single time. Service is great & everyone on staff is so sweet and attentive. The restaurant is clean, spacious, not too loud, and family-friendly. They have a huge menu so it’s a place where everyone can find something they like. This is now one of our regular dinner spots.

We live in Plaza Midwood and LOVE supporting and frequenting our Latin neighbors, and Lempira Restaurant – Central Avenue is one of our favorites.
The food is consistently excellent — authentic Central American flavors from Mexico, Honduras, and El Salvador. My go-tos are the enchiladas, chicken fajitas, and the pollo a la plancha.
What really stands out (beyond the flavor) is the presentation. Every dish comes out beautifully plated and photo-ready — not just slopped on a plate. Presentation clearly matters to these folks, and it shows.
Manager Francisco is THE BEST — always friendly and welcoming, and the staff makes you feel right at home. Relaxed, family-friendly, and consistently good — we’ll definitely keep coming back.

First order completely wrong. This the second order. What part of stilo pollo is not understood. Shouldn’t have to drive a third time to the restaurant to get what I order and pay for a third plate because you guys are incompetent. Didn’t even ask for a refund from the first plate that was WRONG just to receive another order that isn’t correct.

I have visited the Lempira restaurant that is located on Eastway, but this is my first time coming to this location off of Central. There is free parking onsite in a shared parking lot. This particular Lempira is a bit more upscale than the other one that I visited and the service is much better! My friend and I seated as soon as we came in our waitress was Esmeralda and she was very observant of our needs. Esmeralda, gave us time to review the menu while we were waiting on our other friend to arrive. The food was delicious. It did not take a long time for it to come out. The manager, Francisco came around twice to make sure that we were okay. He was absolutely gorgeous with a wonderful personality. We had a very nice time here we almost didn’t want to leave. Lempira is cost-effective while providing excellent service with delicious well portioned food. This is definitely the location for me to visit again.

I absolutely love this place. The food is fantastic and the staff is super friendly. Unfortunately, I don’t speak Spanish but everybody there goes out of their way to make sure I am comfortable and enjoying my experience.
