I came in to try their breakfast, a lot of breakfast places around here have so many mixed reviews. The two older women could smile a bit more or be friendlier. I was the only young person in the restaurant and the rest were seniors. The staff were only kind and chatty with the seniors, but kind of cold towards me. Sounds like age-ism since the staff are also old. Service was decent, she did check up on me.
I ordered country fried steak and pumpkin pancake. The country fried steak was not bad. Hash browns had some taste. Eggs were not runny or well scrambled, in the middle. You’ll need to put some salt on the eggs though. Pumpkin pancake was a bit light on the pumpkin taste. Overall it’s about a 3.5. It’s a decent breakfast place with good portions. Baked Apple in DG is way better in quality and taste.

This is a family owned restaurant and they really take good care of you. The food is great and the portions are still big here. They have a wonderful breakfast selection of American favorites, like omelettes, pancakes, french toast, skillets and crepes, just to name a few. The service is always good and the atmosphere here is great. I also think that their lunch menu is very good. I don’t think they are open for dinner, breakfast and lunch only.

My review is great food but this time we couldn’t sit down and enjoy ourselves because today my daughter and I was coming from my lab works and sure when you fast for lab and hungry. You will like to go to a restaurant where you went many times before. We was sitting in the table where we always sit because I have issues seeing board. The blond waitress grab our menu and put us on a different table and stated you can’t sit there because these ladies sit there every Tuesday. Okay the think was how she was talking to us. She the blonde waitress with attitude. She could ask us and be more respectful. After my morning started fast and lab. I’m sure the people that fast knew what I’m talking about. So my daughter a coffee and I say to my daughter let go. We don’t need no respectful waitress. I pay for coffee and we left.

Lemont Street Cafe is an excellent place for breakfast. They have a large variety of food to choose from. And the service is always great. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

I hope I have the right pictures as the breakfast food was wonderful! We really enjoyed that our waitress said we could customize any menu item and the fact they didn’t over serve with too much food. Just your meal w no extra pancakes etc on the side. Those extras often go to waste or you’re paying for something you don’t really need or want.

Excellent fresh food with amazingly friendly staff. They have a specials section that changes and has some nice options. I really wanted to try the wild mushroom omelet special but came in really wanting a skillet. The waitress said “how about I make you a wild mushroom skillet.” It was perfect! So don’t be afraid to ask for help or suggestions. Great place.
