Avoid!! We tried out from a friend of a friend recommendation, but we should have took the reviews seriously. Upon arrival, we waited at the door for at least 10 minutes before being greeted and seated. It wasn’t overly busy, just 4 other tables occupied but it became apparent only 1 waitress hence the long wait to be greeted.

Serious lack of atmosphere even though other tables were there, and it was seriously cold! They had one plug in radiator near the bar which wasn’t doing anything. We were sat by the window where a huge draft was, we sat freezing! Table in front of us had their coats on!

We asked if they have glass bottled coke, to which they did not, so we asked for bottled water but was then told they had none!! We then asked for a number of dishes to order, but was told no beef left on any mains! The bad news just kept coming! We should have been told what was not available at the start – at least you can decide whether to still dine rather than leave hungry and too late to go anywhere else…

With hesitation, we made our food order at 8.15 and was still waiting for it at 9.30! We decided to call it quits. The table in front of us were sat when we entered at 8pm, and they only got their mains at 9.20 – so god knows how long we would have been waiting for! It seems they had the same dishes so why a bulk cook up wasn’t done, we don’t know!?

Waitress apologised but it was too late and we were left tired and hungry. Terrible!!!

Restaurant is seriously dated, cheap tablecloths, paper menus and then the audacity to have a sign on the table about price increases on the menu!

The back of the restaurant was dim and unused. Felt uncomfortable using the toilet having to walk through an unwelcoming diused part of the building. No nice hand soap, and no paper towels.

Would not recommend to anyone!

Wonderful Thai food. Had Weeping Tiger on specials menu, with chicken. Delicious!! Garlic rice was great. Even the crackers were awesome. I have never taken the left over crackers, but these had to come with me!!

It’s been a long time since I’ve been here. So I thought it was time to visit and review, as a few friends had said the food was good.

First impressions was not so good with the scaffolding in front and awkward to get to the front door. Of which I noticed the letterbox was hanging off.

We were keenly greeted by a hostess who gave us a pick of tables, it wasn’t busy for a Saturday night.
My seat, I immediately noticed the cover was split and some was missing. I went to sit and the chair wobbled badly so I swapped it for another, this also was in bad repair but better than the first.

Our friends arrived and we ordered drinks from the menu to which we were told no cocktails no Thai beer on tap as no gas and no strawberry Fanta. So a random 3 out of 4 drinks weren’t available.

We ordered a few starters to share and I can genuinely say they were good, a sharing platter for 2, tempura chicken and grilled pork skewers, all tasted good and I felt a little releaved as at least the food started well. A little unsure about battered vegetables though.

The hostesses were keen to check everything was OK and see if we needed more drinks. But it was a little difficult as their stock was so low it was more like what is available rather than having what you wanted.

The mains we ordered were, Thai red chicken curry, pork drunken noodles (hot and spicy), oyster chicken stir fry and khao pad pak (a bit like a biryani). These were all completely different and we tried each other’s. My drunken noodles are not for the faint hearted. I enjoyed the flavour of the red Thai curry. The least liked was the stir fry.

When we came to pay we were told their card machine wasn’t working and had to pay through an app on a phone.

I’m really pleased with the food, it made the night go well, lifted the evening. But if you’re looking for a fancy romantic place to eat I wouldn’t recommend it. It looks tired, lacking stock, if I was to guess it seems like the are running dry ready to close. We even asked them and they said they weren’t.

The toilets were clean but small and unisex.

The friendliness of the staff and tasty food has saved this from a terrible score.
I rate this as 3.1* out of 5 stars.

This restaurant needs a face-lift and repairs to make it great.

The restaurant was nice, and the food was definitely authentic. The food was spicy! Overall, it was a good experience, but as for most places here in the UK, they are tight with the ice and water, which is frustrating when you are eating very hot food.

They also need to fix the one bathroom.

Big sign outside promoting Happy Hour cocktail only after we sat down to find out that not only they don’t do Happy Hour, they don’t serve cocktail at all! They said it’s for summer. We then ordered a pint which was on the menu but was again told that it’s only for the summer. Felt like being deceived. Food was overpriced for both quality and quantity. Pork option is to avoid. It was bland and dry. Worst meal we had over the weekend at Great Yarmouth.

A lovely restaurant. After waking up and down looking for a nice restaurant we came across Lekthai and the waitress Demi couldnt of been more helpful. Brought out a menu for us and took the time to explain the dishes. Food was really, staff friendly. Would definitely go again.

Went here to get dinner. Food was above average. I especially liked the sauces. The staff is friendly. Found the prices to be a little on the higher side. The furniture needs some maintenance.

We were the only diners on this occasion, yet the staff seemed overwhelmed. They explained at length that it was an old menu (to be fair, just a couple of A4 sheets stapled together), and overheads had risen since printing it, so prices were higher than stated (a notice on the table explained the same thing, ending with wishing us a Happy Easter, though we were there in August)… perhaps investing in a printer for the backroom would solve all these problems.

The food was very good, though, and prices decent, including for drinks. (My only gripe with that was with the discount card I had: they gave us a 30% discount although it should have been 50%). However, I’d actually come back again, just for the food, but might wait until the menus have been reprinted.
