Just because you have a good view does not mean you can expect an incredible meal, but let me tell you, Legends on the Lake, does NOT disappoint! The food here is phenomenal, the hot wings are incredible and cooked to perfection. The pretzels were delicious and soft, the chili was a sweet chili and absolutely delightful. I had the Caesar salad with yummy salmon and the dressings are all made in house. To top it all off, Kathy our servers was absolutely FANTASTIC. I am writing this review as I sit here anticipating my dessert, I ordered the upside down pineapple cake! I’m sure it’s going to be scrumptious.

Had not been to Legends since 2017 during our last vacation to Lake Lure. We returned this year (2022) and decided to go again. We ended up eating there 4 times the week we were there. The food is outstanding, the staff is wonderful, and the drink menu is great. Eating outside was a joy, and the view was spectacular. Will go there again on our next trip to the mountains.

Fantastic! Had wonderful time and the food came out perfectly and in a perfect amount of time. Both times we have come up this week we have enjoyed everything legends had to offer. I love coming here anytime while in RB’a resort, but this time Summer stood out and provided absolutely brilliant customer service. On our first night, even under all the stress of a busy Saturday on July 3rd, she made us and everyone around us feel welcome while clearly also handling the pressure during her busy holiday shift. Thanks Summer!

I had two meals here and had decent service. The Friday fish fry was a bit of a let down. I did enjoy the chicken pasta and chicken bowl. The wings and loaded chips were good. The cocktails were enjoyable.

Fun bar with fantastic views of the lake. Bar staff is really cool and they make a great selection of drinks. Fries have a nice seasoning I didn’t expect but really liked. Pizzas are terrific. Caprese salad was terrible though, lol stay away from that unless you happen to love celery. Clean restrooms. Upbeat music. Nice facilities and an older, local bar crowd mixed with families coming up from the beach. Overall a relaxed vibe. Pricing was reasonable, if a tad on the high side without gouging. It is the only game on that beach, after all. With that location, the food doesn’t have to be good and the staff doesn’t have to be so friendly but it is and they are! Look forward to visiting again soon.
