It took about 5 minutes for someone to see us at the entrance. After that service was good. Great view of the lake from our table. We got the white bbq fries and the wagyu dip. The fries were good, but a little too salty. The wagyu was fantastic.

I recently dined at Legends on the Lake and had a mixed experience. The food was pretty good, with flavorful dishes that hit the mark for the most part. However, the menu has changed significantly from what’s listed online, which was a bit disorienting and made it hard to know what to expect.
Unfortunately, the service was a major letdown. Our waiter was inattentive, and refills on drinks were nonexistent. The food also came out extremely slowly, despite the restaurant being far from full, which made the lack of attention even more surprising and frustrating.
Overall, while the food was decent, the outdated online menu and poor service left a lot to be desired. I hope they address these issues, as the potential for a great dining experience is there, but the execution needs serious improvement.

Service was great, food was very good. Dining room was very cozy with a separate bar room. We visited twice during our visit and both times were great. We had a view of where the lake will be next year. lol

Great service, lovely venue; however the smash burger was good, but not great as I had hoped. Not the crispy outer shell (don’t know the correct term) that is expected to have been achieved with the high heat and smashed searing process. Onion rings and French fries were perfect though. My partner and I ordered the not-smashed burger. Fellow diners enjoyed the Caesar Salad and Wings they ordered. Would return if we were in the area again, but forego the burgers.

This was a little bit of a mixed bag of an experience, but overall am… okay one. There are not many options in the area, so this is one of the more reliable ones, especially if you are part of the Rumbling Bald community.
Best part? The pickle chips were the best pickle chips I have ever had in my life – and the portion was excellent.
The barbecue chicken pizza was a bit of an odd experience – it was quite sweet, and loaded with cheese, that sort of separated from the pizza, but I did eat it. I was really excited for the drink, but it was an odd blend of flavors, and not something I would order again.
Patrons are all over the place – some very kind and down to earth and others pretty high maintenance. But I must say the service was excellent – kind, professional, available.
I will certainly give this place another try, and if you’re able to sit out on the porch and look at the water then you certainly have a wonderful view!

Just because you have a good view does not mean you can expect an incredible meal, but let me tell you, Legends on the Lake, does NOT disappoint! The food here is phenomenal, the hot wings are incredible and cooked to perfection. The pretzels were delicious and soft, the chili was a sweet chili and absolutely delightful. I had the Caesar salad with yummy salmon and the dressings are all made in house. To top it all off, Kathy our servers was absolutely FANTASTIC. I am writing this review as I sit here anticipating my dessert, I ordered the upside down pineapple cake! I’m sure it’s going to be scrumptious.

Atmosphere was decent…the service was very VERY slow and overall not good. Took about 15 minutes for the waiter to order our drinks. The roasted Brussel sprouts were good. The chimmichuri quesadilla was okay, but I didn’t like how it was soggy. The cookie skillet was very tiny and took forever to come out.

Beautiful dining room large pitcher windows to look over the lake and beach I thought the lunch menu was quite small but there’s something for everyone I ordered the pizza I did not particularly enjoy it. The coloring of the pizza was odd to me it was more of a Orange color and it just wasn’t my favorite. My dining companion had the nachos and I’ve never seen nachos with corn. I guess it was like roasted corn she thought they were good and that’s all that matters. I would not go back based on the dish I had.

Poor service, long wait times, and convince me the pizza isn’t made in a microwave! Seriously, not a great place to eat. The food wasn’t that good, and they either didn’t have enough people on staff or the service was just that poor. They also completely left off the order for one person in our party and it took them another 25 minutes to bring an order of chicken tenders.

Food was great! We liked every dish we had. Service was quick. Our server was attentive, nice and brought drinks to go without us even having to ask! We sat outside and the view was great. The atmosphere inside was chill and relaxing. Highly recommend.
