Quiet quaint old 1800s style bar the proprietor was very knowledgeable about the whiskey, bourbon and vodka that he was selling, drinks were delicious with all the right size cubes and added ingredients to make your experience that much more. It’s a sipping place, experience. Take in the atmosphere and small talk on this night they had a acoustic 1 man band, that made it most enjoyable. I will go back. It’s a must for people who enjoy your drink and sitting with friends and relatives.

I travel for work and enjoy finding local cafes with quality coffee and snacks. Do happy I stumbled on this spot! I had their chicken salad sandwich which is made with rotisserie chicken. It made a huge difference in the flavor! I also had the broccoli cheese soup. It was good. I prefer a thicker soup personality but would be interested in trying their other soup options.

I went to this place last night with my wife and my aunt and uncle. What an amazing place. The atmosphere is outstanding. It’s obvious that a lot of care and attention was paid to every detail. I was shocked to find this place in Taylorville. I live 45 minutes away. The drive was well worth it. The staff was very responsive and friendly. If you go, be sure to go all of the way to the back to see the speakeasy. We didn’t eat there because we didn’t know that they served food. But the food looked and smelled delicious. We all had cocktails and wine. I had an Espresso Express martini. I’ve been looking for a martini that I actually enjoy for quite some time. Because it makes me look sophisticated. Not. But, that martini is truly delicious. I might have a problem if I lived much closer. Eric Hagen was the performer. I would have left that out if he wasn’t good but, he really was. I’d go see him again. Sorry for the rambling but bottom line, I’d definitely go again. And I’m sure we will.

It’s nice having such a unique spot in town. You can enjoy a chai tea while studying in the morning or sip a glass of wine in the evening. The owner is super friendly and professional. The ambiance is great, and their flatbread pizza is definitely our favorite!

This little place in Taylorville is my newest favorite place in town, my girlfriend and I went here for lunch, with me being new to town, it was a taste of back home, where I’m from. Large Savannah, Ga vibes here. Great environment with great food! Will definitely be coming back!

Interesting decor-classy rustic. Excellent variety of healthy menu choices and high food quality in a casual and friendly atmosphere. Historical building restored to tasteful combo of vintage and modern amenities. I’d definitely return when in the area.

I really enjoy the location. Nice place.
Its really one of the nicer places in Taylorville.
Would do 5 stars. . But they seem to have an issue opening on time. Would really enjoy their coffee before school. But it’s almost never open at 7am.
