Waited quite a while even though the restaurant not extremely crowded.
The pork lard rice is cooked only after ordered (pork lard is ready according to cashier). It was good, pork lard was crispy. It is about 4 pax portion.
The crispy ice meats also nice. Very crispy.
Nothing to shout about on crystal ice plant. Still crunchy but not as crunchy as I expected. The dressing tastes sweet and sour.
Ordered a bottle of juice at RM9.
2 dishes 1 pork lard rice 1 beverage costed RM99 before tax. After 16% it was RM114.84.
I would not say the taste worth the waiting (especially I am sitting outside and the guest of wedding next door smoking) but i think it worth trying.
Probably making reservation or ordering take away in advance will be a good choice, or come earlier.

Nice restaurant and better with bookings. And you can clarify and ask about prices without hesitation. The curry pot is nice, the chicken is nice too.
The rice is hot when serve.

Came here a few times and the standard is pretty okay, but their ribs seems to be getting slimmer, so little meat and so much bones, not too worth it.
Dishes in general are fresh and tasty.
Love their pork lard rice, very fragrant and tasty.

We visited this restaurant a number of times. Prices are extremely high but acceptable since the food is good. Unfortunately the last two visits were so disappointed (early Jan 2026 and last week of Feb 2026). Taste and more importantly, quality of the food dropped significantly. We will unlikely be returning to this restaurant as there are a lot more better restaurants around in terms of taste and price. Though friendly service, it is very unfortunate as the food quality no longer justify the price. I highlighted this to the restaurant and the response was feedback shall be provided to the kitchen!

Repeated visit but this time the food quality is just satisfactory, not as good as last time. We still ordered the famous 冰冻古佬肉 . It’s still delicious and yummy.

We ordered the beancurd with fish maws, tasted nice. However, the seafood phoenix balls and vegetables are so so only. The price is quite reasonable with nice ambience.

Overall, it’s still satisfying dining experience.

Discovered this legendary restaurant who’s been operating in Mahkota Cheras for many years. As the name suggests the food here is legendary for its good taste & probably above average prices.
So far most of the food we tried here on two occasions were tasty & good portion. I especially loved the Chicken rice, pork chop & nyonya seafood. The dishes were very appetizing and it’s difficult to avoid rice. The claypot kangkung probably one of those that are just regular.
On weekends and special occasions it’s probably best to make prior reservations. Parking is easy during less peak hours. Service is fairly prompt & attentive.

Place is recently renovated so it’s very comfortable. The food is delicious. Our usual order is the Michael Jackson tofu, the iced sweet sour pork, salad prawn, and 清炒青龙菜. It never disappoints! So good. Tried their new Portuguese egg tarts and it melts in your mouth.

Ice sweet sour pork – every table had this signature dish. It was good – sweet sour crispy and cold. Recommended.

The Kurobata pork belly was good but not particularly outstanding for the premium price.

Ice vegetable salad was nicely executed with a light tangy sauce which complemented the crunchy and cold vegetable very well.

Their other signature vegetable, Claypot kangkung was good too but not particularly outstanding in taste.

The Chiangmai seafood which has prawns, squid and clams in a sour and spicy garlic sauce was good but a little mild compared to proper Thai restaurants. More lime and chilli would have helped.

Seafood pheonix ball were salted egg yolks wrapped in a seafood paste and deep fried. This was good.

The Minced Pork with lard rice was fragrant and tasty and is recommended.

We also had a fried lotus paste pancake which was sweet and crispy. Recommended too.

Overall food was well executed and good quality. Will be back to try more dishes.

Good find and impression for first visit. Seafood choices abound – we had a decent steamed tilapia along with a notable Nyonya style squid (mildly spicy with petai). Must try pork lard rice – scrumptious and go for large portion as you will want extra helpings. Kangkung in claypot yummy too. Yin-Yang yam basket with sweet and sour pork delicious although more sauce would be better. The Michael Jackson beancurd is unique and rather nice too. Look forward to returning to try other dishes in the menu.

The pork lard rice in the pot is not hot , therefore not recommended. They provide fruits after meal but in a tiny small portion for a number of 4 paxs.
